Hi friends! I have two more Irish themed finishes before St. Patrick's Day. 💚
☘️Wild Clover☘️from March of the Daffodils by Blackbird Designs. I followed stocking finishing instructions by Carol Mundle on Instagram. I keep improving. 🤪 If you would like these stocking finishing instructions, I can email you the pdf. Just email me.
I stitched this one over two on mystery 40ct linen with the called for WDW Moss and DMC 733. I want to stitch the other two stockings in this booklet. A daffodil stocking and a Quaker stocking. There are three stockings for each month!!😮 I CANNOT KEEP UP WITH THAT! Luckily I do not want to stitch every single one. Just most! Ha! I am going to stitch one for each month this year. That much, yes. Maybe a few more next year. Who knows?! I only have one sampler done out of my SIX samplers I have planned to stitch and get done this year! ACK!😬

🍀Sweet Clover Girl🍀by Pineberry Lane.
This is from the Little Shamrocks pattern, which was a Christmas gift from Madeleine this year.💚
I stitched this one over two on mystery 40 count linen with most of the called for DMC. I changed the dress, skin and lip colors, and gave her a wee smile.
I notice in the picture, Shamrock Row almost looks bent. I assure you it is not! I wanted to show you the new fern I got half a week ago from our Stein garden mart. It was on clearance for $1.43. It was supposed to be $7. It had several black leaves, which I removed, otherwise this little plant seems to be doing fine. I have a "thing" for ferns. This is a new one for me. This is a crocodile fern.🐊 I am not sure the picture truly shows it, but the leaves are thick and textured. Neat!

I am now stitching on my friend Lisa's sampler in our Round Robin. Once I complete that, I will do some Easter stitching. Is anyone else stitching for Easter?
I ordered one thing from the Nashville Market.
Eliza's French Birds 1849 by JBW Designs. I have received the pattern. Now I am ordering the fancy flosses. I only have two of them. I have the 36 count linen. When I get the flosses, I am stitching this!!For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13
Okay then. I wish you a Happy St. Patrick's Day! Remember the Saint on that day. What a holy man he was.
Thank you for stopping by. I am so glad you did. Have a blessed day!
Stitching and praying,
Vickie

I love the sweet little girl for March , also the stocking .
Have a lovely week hugs June.
Two beautiful little finish for St. Patrick Day. I like the stocking very much and the little girl is very sweet.
A lovely new pattern. Enjoy your stitching when the floss arrive.
Have a nice day, Manuela
Both of your St. Patrick's stitches are darling, Vickie. I think keeping up with one stocking a month is a good idea and then if you have time or perhaps in 2024, you could stitch the others you really like. Or make them your monthly stitch for 2024. I like your Shamrock Row. Looking forward to seeing your market start!
I like both patterns very much, and your stocking is a pretty decoration, something different. Very nicely done.
Oh, you bought yourself something great at the Nashville Market, beautiful.
Enjoy the rest of the week
Hugs Martina
Your stocking and the little Shamrock Girl finish are both so cute, Vickie! It's always nice to stitch with green this time of year. Such a pretty chart you purchased. I honestly didn't see anything this year that I just had to have so I'm sticking with my stash.
Hope you enjoy this last half of March ♥
Happy St. Patrick's Day Vickie! I love your holiday finishes!
I haven't gotten my market order as yet. It's not a big order by any means. I'm usually more inspired to buy something after I see someone stitching a particular project.
Such a darling stocking, one a month should be perfect for you! I'm looking forward to seeing the daffodil.
That really is a Sweet Clover Girl, the finish looks great.
Your green thumb is showing!
The little stocking is so sweet and your finishing is perfect. I think one a month would be an achievable goal and there is always next year!
Clover Girl is lovely too.
Hello Vickie: Shamrock Row only looks that way due to the poodle and plant, it is a trick of the eye.
Sweet Clover Girl is adorable, I like that you added a smile to her face.
I am so in love with the stocking, it is adorable, Blackbird Designs has so many stockings that are lovely designs.
I believe in St. Patrick.
Catherine
