Clover

Hi friends! How is March treating you thus far? It is barely warming up here. We will take it!

🍀 March Cubby Shelf Display 🍀Almost all of these are stitched over one.

I have been asked more than once how I store my little cubby shelf creations. I finally remembered to show you. I have this VERY old Tupperware container from my MIL. It is absolutely perfect. I keep all the flat finishes in order by month. This is stored under my bed. 😉

I have had this fun, little idea in my head for a clover/shamrock chart. So I stitched it up on a scrap of golden mystery 40ct with DMC two over two. If you also would like to stitch this up, you can find the free pattern at the top of this blog post. It is listed under Free Cross Stitch Charts.

I am now back to stitching on Anniversaries of the Heart.

This will surprise you. For the first time ever I made a pre-order purchase for Nashville Needlework Market. Eliza’s French Birds 1849 from Judy of JBW Designs.

Beautiful, right?! I do believe I am NOT stitching The Pink Sparrow Sampler this year, and stitching this one instead. I want to enter this in our State Fair.

Did you order anything from Nashville Needlework Market?

📚🎧This book is about Annie Sullivan, a half-blind orphan with a fiery tongue, who just happened to be the young lady who took on the impossible job of teaching Helen Keller. This was really interesting. I must say, as a girl, I learned about Helen Keller, but I never learned about her teacher. My goodness! Annie Sullivan should have been given an award! She lost a tooth from Helen's wild blows to Annie's face! Helen was a wild child when Annie first arrived. I certainly do not remember learning these details. Annie is the one who found a way to get through to Helen. It really is a good book.

Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:25-26

Well I have been going through my cross stitch chart stash in case you have not noticed. I am once again offering a giveaway. Here is the chart. (Click on the photo to enlarge.)

This giveaway is open to all of my followers everywhere. You only need to be a sidebar follower of this blog and leave a comment on this post stating you would like the pattern "My Sheep". I will draw a name by Friday, March 10th.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have wonderful weekend!

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

It is finally warming up here Vickie: Hopefully it will stay warm.
I love your shelf so sweet and so nice to be able to change out the monthly designs.
Great way to organize.
The Shamrock pillow is adorable, the poodle next to it makes a sweet statement.
I am looking forward to seeing your progress on the JBW design, I hope you win Grand Champion on it at the Fair.
I am reading Titanic Sisters, very good book.

Hi Vickie
your cubbyshelf looks great as always. A good idea to collect the finish stitching ornaments in a tupperware. I collect my pillows and ornaments in cases on the wardrobe.
Thank you for the little stitching freebie.
A lovely little giveaway. I jump into the lottery pot.
A beautiful sampler. Hope you can start soon.
Have a nice weekend. Manuela

Your March cubby looks super, Vickie. Great container for storage! Thank you for the darling St. Patrick's piece. Yes, I did some pre-ordering; I had some gift cards/certificates to use. I actually like your pre-ordered piece better than the Pink Sparrow you originally planned to stitch this year. Have a wonderful weekend.

Hello! I'm so glad I found you ❤️. Thank you for the freebie, I will be stitching it and adding it to my St. Patty's Day collection. Also, I love your idea of putting mini cross stitch finishes in the shadow box, so clever ☺️. I would love the pattern, "My Sheep"... beautiful verse ❤️.

March already and looking good!
That's a great way to store them, they fit perfectly. It looks like it could have been a container for Velveeta!
Your pattern turned out great, thanks for sharing.
That's a beautiful piece you chose to pre-order. I didn't order anything, but that doesn't mean I won't get something later.
