Saint Patrick

Hi friends! Let me share the piece I have designed and stitched for the month of March.

I wanted to bring the Saint back to the saint's name day.☘️

This took me a lot longer to stitch than I thought it would, due to all of the partial stitches. UGH. 😒

I stitched this one over two with DMC on 40ct Meadow Rue linen. I also used VMSS 1795 Tarnished Gold and 1795 Golden Straw. I finished this into a pinkeep for display on the corner shelf. The back is a lovely gold wool.

🍀March Cubby Shelf Display🍀

These are all stitched over one, except the little March pillow on top. Swipe to see a close up of the new addition to the cubby shelf this month.☘️ This sweet pattern, called St. Patty's Trifle, is courtesy of  our friend Melisa Thank you Melisa! I did change the bottom shamrocks to four leaf clovers. 😉 You can find this pattern for free on Melisa's blog. I stitched this two over two with the called for DMC on 25ct Moss Wichelt Lugana.

I need to mention my 10 year Giveaway again. I am drawing a winner this Friday. If you read that post early on, you saw that I offered 12 Bent Creek patterns. Well that has changed unfortunately. I am now offering a different pattern in the giveaway. Please see the giveaway HERE I am hoping that someone wants the pattern. As of yet, no one does. If Friday comes, and no one has entered, I will simply give it away locally at my Goodwill store, and offer another pattern soon here on the blog. I want to offer a gift made by me, but cannot send it internationally and do not feel that is fair to ALL of my friends.

I am now stitching a PEACE pattern. Are you?

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:

“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,

Who bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:15

Thank you for stopping by. I am so glad you did. YOU are the only reason I continue to keep this blog going. Without visits and comments from my friends, I have no reason to keep this up at all and I do think about throwing in the towel.

Stitching and praying,

Vickie

Love the cubby shelf for March! I'm bogged down in stitching a Christmas stocking that I promised I would stitch in 2020. Then the kids had to come here for school and, well, I'm just now recovering the urge to stitch.

Wow, you did a great job on Saint Patrick, I think that was difficult to design. I also really like your Cubby Shelf.
Enjoy your Time, Martina

Your St. Patrick's stitch is lovely. I think your giveaway pattern would be great for stitching the smalls to put in a printers box. Very generous of you but I am not adding to my collection till I make a dent in what I have already. Your printers box is wonderful!! I love how you are able to change it out. Enjoy the rest of your week and it is an accomplishment to have blogged for 10 years, looking forward to being with you for the next 10!!

Great job on designing St. Patrick himself, Vickie! I have NO drawing talent whatsoever so I truly admire those of you who can design! Take care now ♥

St. Patrick looks great! I blame the Designer for those fractional stitches LOL
I did wonder about the giveaway as my Feedly Reader showed the original prize!

He looks fantastic, what a great design you created! He might need to stay out longer than March.
As always, your cubby looks lovely. Thanks for sharing the freebie, Melisa has lots of great stitches that she shares.
That is a very sweet pattern you're giving away, but it's one I probably wouldn't stitch.
