September Stitching

Hi friends! I stitched up our friend Palko's September chart. It is now in the cubby shelf.
I stitched this one over one on 25count white evenweave. As I stitched, I realized these are grapevines. I think. Am I right? I chose DMC 4070, as September is still a pretty green month around here. We have just a little yellowing of the leaves.

Now I am onto a tiny September sampler for the cubby shelf.

Here is a pretty pattern June sent me. Isn't her butterfly card lovely and the perfect sationery for her?
Thank you for leaving such nice comments for me my friends. You brighten my day. :) I hope you have a great weekend!

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

I am so sad to hear that you have again had those headaches -I promise to remember you in my prayers dear!

The September stitching is darling cute and I especially that you choosed so light color for that !

Everything is ok here my DD has again picked her needle and started to stitch one of those cute DMC- Tatty teddy-kits. I am so happy she is again cross stitching.

The leaves do look like grape leaves, Vickie. The vegetation is still quite green here as well, but the sagebrush will go into bloom very soon. That spells the beginning of fall in these parts. In October the leaves turn color.

Have a lovely weekend!

Vickie, it is only September 9th. How can you already have "September Stitching"? You're making me look like a slacker, honey. LOL

Your stitching is as beautiful as usual. I say yes, those are vines.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Dear Vickie,
your chosen color for September goes well. It is reminiscent of the fall and is still sunny and friendly.
I hope you are well and your headaches are far away.
I hug you
Your Sandra

A very pretty addition to September, and I think the thread that you chose is perfect for this month. Here the trees just start to change colours but most of the leaves are still green. Most of the colour changes will happen in October.
