🍓🍓🍓

Hi friends! I had a little fun making strawberries just because I found this fun fabric at JoAnn's.🐩
🍓🐩🍓Well I made the fat strawberries, I thought I would make some little skinny ones too!😊
I had the dark red crushed velvet in my stash. When I went to JoAnn last week, I bought the pale blush velvet with the tiny gold studs on it, and the red velvet with the silver foil dots. All on sale and fun stuff❣️

📚Have you ever read Little Men by Louisa May Alcott? This is the third book in the Little Women series. I have read the previous two also. 😊 The story is full of adventure and mischief. This novel recounts six months in the life of students at Plumfield, a school run by Professor Friedrich and Mrs. Jo Bhaer. Remember the estate that Jo inherited from her Aunt March?
I am still stitching away on Madeleine's birthday gift! And her birthday is this Friday!! I am hoping to finish today or tomorrow. Don't know how I will get it framed in time. It is not that big of a piece. She does not know.😉 Wish me luck!!

“When he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, ‘Lord, save me!’ Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. ‘You of little faith,’ he said, ‘why did you doubt?’” —Matthew 14:30-31

Have a great day my friends! Stay safe and smart.

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Your strawberries are just darling Vickie!

I don't remember the plot but I do believe I read Little Men as a kid.

Your strawberries look wonderful! I have not tried any of those yet. We are watching Little Men on Prime. I am just loving it. Such a nice wholesome program. I am not sure if it follows the book. I should read that next.

How pretty your strawberries look and they are a pretty decoration.
I wish you good luck for Madeleine's gift, it will work out.
There is a new book by Kate Morton, Manuela gave it to me for my birthday: the watchmaker's daughter. I can't wait to read.
Have a good Time, Hugs

The strawberries are lovely fat or thin! What are they sitting next to? I can't wait to see Madeline's BD gift. I read the series when I was in 3rd grade. I see Barb is enjoying Little men on Prime, I'm going to check that out, I didn't know about that and am always on the lookout for something good to watch.

Love your strawberries, Vickie! Nope, I haven't read Little Men. Guess I should add it to my list! I am looking forward to seeing Madeleine's birthday gift you are stitching.

I like your strawberries, they came out well.
I've read all the 'Little Women' related books but it was years ago.

Your strawberries are lovely, velvet is such a wondeful fabric.
I have read Little Men, my Mum had a set of the four books. But I haven't read it since I was a child.

Strawberries come in all shapes and sizes, so yours fit right in! They look very sweet.
Who knew there was such a book, not me! I guess I'm really behind in my reading.
