LiberTea Bowl Filler

Hi friends! I'm back. A slight delay there. I had planned to share my patriotic finishes with you by the end of last week. I had oral surgery on Thursday.🤕 Let's just say ouch okay. I am still hurting, but the doctor makes you get by on ibuprofen and acetaminophen now. I had Vicodin for the first three days and that was it. I go back next week to have the stitches removed and to check the progress on my bone growth? I had a bone graft. I had a lot of bone loss. I had a molar removed that I had a root canal done on when I was 19 years old! I must eat soft foods for two weeks and only eat on the left side of my mouth.

First up is 💖🤍💙🐱💙🤍💖 Cally on Cally❣️
These are all called LiberTea Bowl Fillers by Barbara Ana from PN&PS Magazine Summer 2018. I changed the cat to look like our Cally.😽

💖🤍💙🐩💙🤍💖
This was based on the dog pattern, but our daughter Madeleine changed it to a standard poodle for me❣️🐩 I stitched this one with the called for colors on the called for 32ct Belfast Dirty linen, two over two. The fabric you see is the backing fabric.

❤️💙🐭💙❤️
This little mouse completes the patriotic trio❣️ I stitched this one with the called for colors on the called for 32ct Belfast Dirty linen, two over two. The fabric you see is the backing fabric.
The trio is sitting in a wonderful yardstick box our carpenter son built me from a vintage yardstick 📏 my Mom gave me.

I am attempting to stitch a birthday gift for Madeleine. She actually told me she likes this pattern THREE TIMES!!! She does not know I have the pattern though.😉 I am hoping to get it stitched and finished while she is at work the next two weeks. Wish me luck! It is hard since she lives here with us!

“Your word is a lamp to my feet.” —Psalm 119:105

Have an excellent week my friends! God bless you! Thank you for stopping by.

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Your patriotic bowl fillers are delightful. Good luck with the gift. It is very hard to stitch for someone that lives with you. Sure hope the dental business is all done and you are on the mend!

You needed a bone graft for a tooth?? My goodness! I hope the tooth fairy pays by the inch in your house!
The little trio are adorable. I love the way you adapt the charts to fit your own family of pets.

I absolutely love this trio of stitches! Just wonderful! I do hope your bone graft and all goes smoothly. Am I understanding correctly? You are still in the midst of it all? Oral surgery is so painful! Take care!

I'm sorry you had to go through oral surgery, no fun for sure. So lots of ice cream maybe?!
Cally is displaying her namesake beautifully, they are both precious. The trio is adorable together, great conversion by Madeleine.
The box is fantastic with a contribution from three generations, what a treasure!
