Pink
Hi friends! Thank you for your kind words and birthday wishes for Madeleine also. We had a lovely weekend. Here is the cake I made Miss Madeleine.
While our beautiful, 17 year old daughter received birthday gifts this weekend, I received pink gifts. :)

Our friend Kim sent me these pretty pinks. And take a look at the lovely painting MADE BY KIM! What talent! Thank you Kim. All of these gifted, pink fabrics will be put right into my Epic Pink Tumbler Quilt. yay!
I finished reading Letters From My Father's Murderer by Laurie Coombs. An excellent read. It is a true story. A fantastic story of real forgiveness. Thank you Julie for recommending this book.
We will head to State Fair this Friday. I may actually run to the exhibit hall to see if my two pieces are there. ;) I am very excited to see if I won a ribbon. My brother and his band, Brewgrass, are playing at the Door County Fish Boil stage. They are so very excited to be performing at the State Fair.
