Happy Bunny Bunny Day by The Trilogy Designs

Hi friends! I would like to share my latest finish with you. Happy Bunny Bunny Day by The Trilogy Designs 🐇

stitched two over two on 32ct Zweigart Angel Blush Belgian linen with DMC (some of my own choices). I left out the alphabet and where the pattern called for pink buttons, I used the pink floss and created spider web roses. Can't take credit for that idea. I saw it on IG, but can't remember where. 🙄

I am now stitching an April monthly piece.

📚 Do you like Jerry Seinfeld? Jerry has written his own material and saved EVERYTHING since he began as a twenty-one year old. In this book, he selected his favorite material and organized it decade by decade. I will give you my honest opinion of this audio book. I did not laugh at most of the jokes. BUT..... that may just be me. AND the 25% of the jokes I did laugh at. OH MY GOODNESS. When we use this: 😂😂😂 the face with eyes shedding tears from laughing so much. YES, that was me. I am NOT exaggerating when I tell you that I had a box a tissues right next to my stitching, because I had to wipe my eyes so often and repeatedly. Also, I could feel my abdominal muscles were getting a workout from laughing so much. I am not kidding!😆 So, if you are going to check out this book, do yourself a favor and listen to it!

Here is a personal question you may not want to answer! And that is fine. I wasn't sure I wanted to share this embarrassing information either but, well I am putting it out here. I have gained about 10 pounds in a year!! That is something new, and unwelcome! How many of you have gained weight during this last year? You do NOT have to tell me how much. I thought it was all my "menobelly", but I am starting to wonder about that. The more I see and read in the news about weight gain during the pandemic has me second guessing the weight gain! 61% of Americans say they gained weight during the pandemic! I read one article that said nearly 2 pounds a month!!! I can't walk on the treadmill enough! How are you coping with this?

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

Thank you for your comments. I hope and pray you are well. I hope you have a good weekend my friends!

Stitching and praying,

Vickie

Henry is a cutie! Your bunny piece is darling, Vickie! While I didn't gain over the past year, I didn't lose anything either. Several of my local friends put on 15-20 pounds during the pandemic; they are saying it was because they were less active and ate more unhealthy foods.

Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Vickie: The pillow you did id beautiful, I really like the coordinating fabric, it is positively perfect for this design.
I have gained weight, 20 pounds, I have a hysterectomy back in the 90 and a gull bladder operation which helped to gain weight that I could not get rid of, plus the pandemic has added more weight, I am not happy, I am very active five days a week and still gained weight.
I am not a fan of Seinfeld's, so sorry.
I hope you are having better weather now that spring is here.

The bunny pillow is wonderful!
I can well believe that people gained weight from a combination of things including more frequent snacking, less rushing about and wearing looser clothes so they don't notice the weight going on. Unless you weigh yourself regularly the tightness of your jeans is how you usually tell you've gained weight LOL
Even I put on a small amount over the first lockdown, I added a midmorning snack to my meals. That was enough to see six pounds added over six months. I cut it out and I'm back to normal now.

You have conjured up such a pretty kissel again, I like the way the little rabbit hops there.
Yes, I've also heard of a lot of weight gain, I think it's due to the pandemic and its regulations, you are not allowed to do so much, you are at home a lot, and you will certainly eat more. Fortunately, I have started to lose weight, I avoid sugar and carbohydrates wherever possible. But it goes slowly, it doesn't matter, what's gone is gone, I'm glad about that.
Just try not to put pressure on yourself.
Happy Sunday, Martina

Yes, I did put on a few maybe more than one or two. My Dr. said almost all of her patients did . Now I am watching everything I eat and hope to shed the extra pounds!

Such a darling bunny--I stitched him, but gave him away. Need to do that one for myself. I think I gained maybe a pound since Covid began. Because I've always exercised from home, I still keep to the same routine I always did. I was very lucky that, for me, my routine has not changed much at all :)
