April Stitching

Hi friends! 🥳🩰🎉This is the final month in the Heart in Hand Square Dance series for me!

🥕April🥕 stitched two over two with DMC and VMSS on 32ct mystery evenweave. I changed most of the colors. All of the carrots were supposed to be orange. I thought I would have fun with it, and put in a white one and a purple one.

I am now stitching Sweet Pea by La-D-Da.

I got vaccinated yesterday with Moderna.  I got a bad headache last night. Have you been vaccinated?

📚I have been waiting for this book since one second after I finished the last Maisie Dobbs book! Ha! 😂 I LOVE THIS SERIES! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus  Romans 15:5

I hope you have a very nice weekend! Take good care of yourselves. Now is NOT the time to let down our guards. So many people are still dying from this virus.

Stitching and praying,

Vickie

That little April piece is so pretty! I had both vaccinations and just a little reaction to the second, an itchy arm and more tired than usual for a few days, nothing much! Looks like a good book!

Cute April stitch.
We get our 2nd Moderma shot next week, no side effects from the 2st one though.
Have a great weekend!

Hi Vickie,
wonderful little April finish as always.
Glad to hear that you have the first vaccine. So sad to hear that you have a bad headache reaction. Hope the second one is better.
Have a nice weekend, Manuela

Wonderful finish. Our country is in second wave of the virus. Let us hope that all these odd situations will come to normal soon.

So glad you were vaccinated but sorry to hear you had a reaction. I'm fully vaccinated and so relieved!
Just love that you changed some of the carrots to different colors and all the months work so well in your pretty frame. The little rabbit and cart is darling!! Have a great week and hope your feeling better each day.

It's a pretty finish and I like the idea that changed the colour of the carrots. I must check out the Maisie Dobbs books as they sound good.

Good morning! Love the purple carrot! I had one shot so far, Pfizer. My arm was sore and I was a bit tired. But I am old...maybe I was just tired. LOL I love that little bunny with the cart. So cute! Have a fabulous Sunday.

Love those carrots, they will help you see in the dark!
I've had my first shot of the AZ, second due in May. All three parents have had their seconds now which is a relief.
We come out of lockdown tomorrow with non essential shops reopening. But America seems to be ignoring the fact there is a pandemic at all! Except most of my lovely careful blogging friends that is.

Your color changes on the carrot piece are wonderful, Vickie--definitely adds more interest to the design! I'm so happy to know you got your first shot. I was tired and had a headache and sore arm with my 2nd Moderna, but that was it. But, boy--my second Pneumonia vaccine was a doozy on Friday. Had a terrible reaction with the most sore arm I've ever had from a shot, chills, fever, rash, and over 48 hours later my arm still hurts. May have to call the doctor tomorrow :(

It won't be too long until you can see the doctor and hopefully get some relief for your pain. Keeping you in my prayers! ♥

I love all the carrots and how you changed a couple of them, they are fun!
I had the Pfizer one and was just tired with a little bit of a sore arm, but I heard the 2nd can be a little rougher.
