Happy New Year!

Hi friends! Happy New Year! I hope and pray this is a much better year for us all.

I totally forgot to share the gifts that our friend Donna sent me!

Thank you once again Donna!
And here is the latest finish I have to share.
⛄❄️December freebie by romyfrees.blogspot.com⛄❄️ I swapped the December and January designs for each other, as Brian and I are Eastern Orthodox, and celebrate Christmas on January 7th. I also chose to use icy blue for the border. I stitched this two over two on 28ct using DMC.

I read two more books than last year. 🙄 I will aim for 100 again in 2021 and see if I can do it. My top 5 favorites from this list📚 in no particular order are: My Cousin Rachel by Daphne du Maurier The Orphan Collector by Ellen Marie Wiseman Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman The Light Between Oceans by ML Stedman

I am now working on the final finishing for my SAL piece.

“The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.” —Psalm 23:1-3

Stay safe! Stay warm! (It's frigid here!🥶)

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Happy New Year, Vickie
I like your December Finsih very much, and it goes so well with yesterday, we had some snow in the morning, which unfortunately was almost gone in the afternoon.
Oh, you've managed so many books, I don't think there were 20 for me. But that doesn't matter either.
I wish you a happy and healthy new year and hope your family is fine.

Vickie: Happy New Year, your December finish is so sweet, I do like the blue you used, it reminds me of how fresh and bright snow is when it first falls and the sun is almost up, it looks a little blue.
That is a lot of reading, I am a big reader but not as much as you, thank-you for sharing your list, I found a few I need to read.
Lovely gifts from Donna.
Positively beautiful scripture.

Your December pillow is very pretty. I will remember where I can find your list of books. I have never been disappointed in a book you recommend!

Nice work on the December piece, good idea to swap the months to suit the way you celebrate.
