If you recall, last week I asked you all what Springtime chore you think I dread the most. One person guessed correctly. That would be Mary Jane. I told her she is right and I will mail her the chart this week. :) Oh yes! The nasty chore is cleaning up dog poop!!! With our long Wisconsin winters, a lot of poop gets hidden or frozen in the snow and ice. And when things melt and thaw in Spring, well....YUCK!! Happy to say that chore is all done!
Plodding along with beading still. Little things keep popping up for me to do, so I haven't done as much beading as I would like. Tomorrow I have to give Miss Mabel a shampoo, blow dry and cut. :)
You take care. Thanks for stopping in today.
Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Gardening? I'm jealous because here I'm shoveling snow!
Aww sweet..
Spring hugs for you my dear x
Of course that is the dreaded chore! Smiles to you :)
My 'pet' hate too, not sure if we're lucky or not but our weather is calm enough and our garden small enough to pick it up as required !!
Hope you are having a wonderful day sweet friend. :)
Oh wow, dog poop! I wouldn't have thought of that! lol! Should have though. I'm so glad you got the chores done in the garden with not much pain increase. Great news!
Living in Florida, that would have NEVER entered my mind! YUCK!
Hello, sweet Vickie, what's causing you pain while gardening? Is it just getting used to using those muscles again? I know I go thru that each spring.
I would never have thought of that but I most definitely should have. Here in Washington our winters are long too and I have the same chore waiting for me each spring. Yuck! I'm sorry you have pain when gardening. I hope the pain isn't too severe.
Blessings,
Betsy
Yea for Mary Jane! Congrats!
Can't even comment on your least fav task (we have cats).
love Annette
Hope at last your Spring is with you.
That is one chore I won't miss , hugs.
Enjoy the gardening, good to read you can enjoy another hobby without your pain increasing.
I am once again trying desperately to catch up on blog reading! Happy Belated Birthday to Mabel! Love your newly covered stool and stitches. And oh yes, had one of those winters too ~ did not enjoy cleaning up Panzer's piles!! Hope you are well!
Im so glad that you're able to garden without a lot of pain! I love all your projects (getting caught up on reading your posts) and the beautiful gifts you've received! So grate ful for your prayers - you are in mine also!
Blessings - Julie
I'm with you as living in northern MN I'm in the same situation. My prayers are with you as I live with chronic pain since a work accident in 2003. In reading your posts it sounded like myself when I first started this journey. Many blessing to a wonderful Spring.
Hmm,I would not have guessed your least liked chore.Glad you got it over with.
Hope you enjoy more time in your garden,Vickie. It is lovely to potter when the sun is out and plants start to appear.
I limit myself to shorter periods these days, partly being well over 50:-) but mostly because of my unpredictable lower back. I am glad my garden is not a big area.
I'm looking forward to gardening, too.
Glad to hear you're feeling well :) enjoy your gardening!
I'm still recovering from my c-section so my garden will wait for me a little longer...
Congrats to Mary Jane :)
Ugh... that would be yucky :(
I'm glad you've been able to do some gardening without pain increase!
ugh! I think that poop has to be the worst!
That is so gross!! I would never have thought of that.
Can't you train them to poop in a litter tray like cats? Or at least bury it LOL
Goodness I hadn't thought of the poop being covered by ice and snow! That's what happens when you don't have ice or snow!!! And that task is still my least favourite thing to do anyway... :)
Good to hear that you are starting to get out in the garden again :)
Hugs x
Sounds good that you were able to do some gardening without increasing pain. Does that mean that spring has finally arrived where you live?
ooooh, never thought of that about snow, winter and dog poop.
I had to laugh because I KNOW this chore all too well. :-)
