Any other Hee Haw people out there or is it just me? This is one program I remember us watching as a family.
So.....Why have I been missing almost 9 months? Various reasons, but mainly because ever since I did the micro punch needle in the Spring to make those pansies(anyone remember those?), I now have tennis elbow, bicep tendonitis, and well, I have had a small tear for years in my rotator cuff. This is all on my dominate, right side. Of course it would be best to stop stitching all together, but I am not going to do that. I had a steroid ultrasound guided injection in my bicep and that did not work. I can have it again in two months. I had one in my rotator cuff last week. That helped. I use lidocaine patches on my shoulder front and upper bicep to get by. If the next injection in the bicep does not work, I will have an MRI.
This is the project I just finished last night.🦅250th Celebration🦅by Teresa Kogut. The pattern and awesome drum were birthday gifts from my friend Deb.
If you also would like this patriotic drum, the shop is called TheOldeSapBucket on Etsy. They have six different patriotic varieties of stripes and stars in blue, red and cream.
🧵I stitched this one over two on 40ct lambswool linen with some of the called for and some of my own choices. The drum made this finish so easy. I had the twine I used around the top in my stash. It coordinates with the twine on the drum.

I am working a few more patriotic stitches right now.
I am not going to make promises on how soon I will be back here. I will make an effort.

Hopefully I still have a few friends stop by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Nice to see a post from you but sorry you have been suffering. I had bursitis in my hip and gluteal tendanopathay, it lasted over a year, so I feel your pain! I too had a sterioid injection, thankfully it helped, and i have been doing pilaties for almost a year and finally I am free of it, (hoping it won't come back). I hope you can start to get some refief because being in pain is no fun at all.
Your stitching is lovely and the finish perfect.
Hope to see you post again soon. Take care x

Hi Vickie, being I’ve been in the department of joint pain for several years now as well I commiserate and fully understand your situation. I will be praying for you, that there is a breakthrough and a cure. May the peace that Christ alone can give fill you and heal you.

Love the stitching.
Take care sweet friend Hugs June.
FABULOUS!!! I hope you get some relief soon Vickie. I get the steroid every quarter and the gel (OUCH) every 6 months. Sometimes it works.
It's always good to see a post from you, Vickie, but I'm so sad to read about all of your health ailments. Each one sounds terribly painful! I hope you get some relief--and soon! Really love that drum finish--such a perfect piece for America's 250th anniversary. Take care now and take it (a bit) easy with the stitching! ♥
