🍓🍓🍓

Hi friends!  It has warmed up just a little bit here. We are now into the twenties F. HOORAY!

💗🍓Chenille Strawberries🍓💗

I have been playing with vintage PINK chenille in between stitching. FYI: A strawberry this size, sewn but not yet stuffed, can be turned upside down and used as a lovely party hat on your Himalayan cat. You must have an agreeable Himalayan for picture taking however. 😕

The overcast morning light does not show this lovely vintage chenille in it's true gorgeous watermelon color❣️ LOVE it❣️
More to come in different styles❣️

Are you familiar with Hedy Lamarr? Did you know she is credited as being the original inventor of WiFi? Did you know at the beginning of World War II Lamarr co-created a "spread-spectrum radio" with George Antheil? They developed a radio guidance system using frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology for Allied torpedoes, intended to defeat the threat of jamming by the Axis powers. But of course Hedy Lamarr was an actress and a film producer. She appeared in 30 films over a 28-year career. This was a fascinating book. I highly recommend it!

Thank you for stopping by to say Hi! my friends! I appreciate your friendship. I hope you are doing well and keeping safe. God bless you.

“Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into His presence with singing!” Psalm 100:2

Stitching and praying,

Vickie

The strawberry color is luscious!! I bet that wasn't the easies fabric to work with either! Very cute! I bet you would have been thrilled to see that float in person!! How creative is that!!

Cute strawberries. Just a few days ago, I tried putting a tiny (cat-head size) knitted cap on our 1 yr old tabby...it didn’t stay on long. 😂

I'm certainly enjoying seeing all of your chenille strawberries both here and on IG, Vickie. Really perfect colors and the texture gives them an extra little something, don't you think?

It was 2° here this morning when I got up--sure don't like this weather. And today we had to actually go outside to do our "senior hour" shopping at Trader Joe's :) Luckily, there were very few folks there with this cold weather! Enjoy your day ♥

Poor Cally! The strawberries are lovely though.
20 degrees C is a nice warm Temperature, not sure about F though!
I do enjoy a good biography, it's always interesting to read about people's lives.

Vickie: I love the Poodle golf cart what a hoot.
I do believe I have heard that about Hedy LaMarr, it is amazing what we do not know about the past history, sad it is not being taught in schools.
Positively adorable Chenille strawberries.
Giggle on the cat comment.
Have a wonderful day

Those strawberries look wonderful, the colours are great.
Well, obviously Callie hasn't been to enough parties to appreciate a good hat!

I do hope your temps keep climbing so you guys will be warm! That chenille is a very pretty shade of pink and I hope you find a willing cat to be your model soon. I do love that big pink dog!!
