November

Hi friends! We have been having really great weather here. In the low 70's and sunny. This is November?!

🦃🧡November Cubby Shelf Display🧡🦃 These are all stitched over one. Except the little November pillow on top

🍂❄️November freebie by romyfrees.blogspot.com❄️🍂

I came up with this design. The November design shows Halloween motifs? I stitched this two over two on 28ct using DMC. The fabric shown is the backing material.

🌻November Square Dance NOT REALLY BY HEART IN HAND!🌻

The November pattern is of pineapples and I just was not feeling it! Yes, I know. I changed the pattern again! This is the last time I am changing the pattern to something else!! What I did this time was use the current issue of JCS. If you turn to page 8 and 9 , you will see all of these motifs there. These are from Harvest Sampler by Jane Chandler of Not-so-plain Jane Designs. The only difference is, I made my oak leaves brown. This is stitched two over two with DMC and VMSS on 32ct mystery evenweave.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Matthew 11:28:-30

Friends, I asked you last week to pray for my brother, and his four children who all had/have COVID. They seem to have recovered pretty well actually. Thank you so much for your prayers. I feel terrible that I did not include Amy in the prayer requests. Amy is my former SIL, my brother's ex-wife. She is asthmatic. She called David on Sunday from her backyard. They live only a few blocks from each other. Amy does not drive. She said she could not breathe. She has not recovered from COVID.  She asked him for help. He picked her up and took her to the Emergency Room of the hospital. They admitted her and she has pneumonia. Would you please pray for Amy? Thank you very much my friends. The COVID situation here in Wisconsin continues to be VERY BAD. It is spreading like wild fire.

Stitching and praying,

Vickie

Your cubby shelf is so beautiful, the small details, all so wonderful. I like your November motif very much, and the changes fit perfectly.
Your corner shelf also looks great, so harmonious, it all fits together.
Oh that doesn't sound good, I pray for Amy and wish her all the best. I hope she will get through it well. And I hope that the new president will finally do something about this disease in your country. So that more people can be helped.
Hugs, and take good care of yourself, Martina

Your redesign of the Heart in Hand piece is perfect, Vickie--great thinking to use those little motifs in place of the pineapples. Sure glad to hear your family is recovering and will definitely keep Amy in my prayers! You take good care now ♥

Hi Vickie,

Praying for Amy for sure. It is a little better here, but still quite a pandemic. Take care and stay safe please!

Pineapples? In what country do pineapples mean November?! How strange, I do like your version.
So sorry to hear about your SIL now, I do hope she gets good treatment and a swift recovery.

I always love seeing your monthly displays! I could not pick a favorite if I had to do so.

I hope your former SIL is doing better today and continues to improve!

Hi Vickie, Your November displays look GREAT! I love the variety of all your stitching! I love the big orange pumpkin and the heart "praise God" framed piece on the bottom. Is that La D Da? I'm glad to hear your brother's family is better but will keep Amy in prayer. What a trial this time is for so many.

Of course I will pray for Amy. An elderly lady in our Church was just diagnosed and is having breathing problems. She ,too, is in my prayers. I love all the November things. I have also left up Fall things. I think Thanksgiving is such an important holiday so I will wait to decorate for Christmas until the Friday after. No black Friday shopping for us this year.

Vickie, I forgot to ask you the name of the pattern on your table. The words are the first part of The Doxology and there is a heart around the words. It was so lovely.

Vickie: Saying prayers for Amy.
So happy to hear they are all feeling better.
Your fall displays are lovely.
Are you going to get another cubby shelf when this one is full, just curious, it is rather fun to see it filling up.
I really like the frame you chose for November, very pretty.
Have a Blessed Day

Good morning!! All of your November finishes are so very sweet. I am a sucker for acorns, pumpkins and all things Fall. LOL As I get older, the more I'm willing to make changes to patterns. I finally figured out that the cross stitch police don't make house calls. LOL I am so sorry to hear about Amy. There are so many people that say that Covid isn't really a problem...but if you have underlying illnesses, yes, it is scary. I will keep her on my heart.

I love the way you modify designs to suit your tastes. I should try to do that from time to time.

We had a record high of 78 here last week and this week it will be much cooler, silly weather.
Lovely November cubby, and more fantastic November stitches. Why not change it to what you like? It certainly works for you.
So sorry to hear about your exSIL, praying that she recovers like her family - which is great news.
