Flowers of the Month

Hi friends!   I want to share two little finishes with you. I had them done since the beginning of the month, I just forgot to post them. 🙃

💠Flowers of the Month: November and December by Praiseworthystitches 💠Both of these patterns are from the current issue of JCS. Since I stitched them for my cubby shelf, I stitched mine one over one on 25ct linen, so I had to leave off the over one word at the bottom. I also skipped the border. I used DMC. I thoroughly enjoyed stitching all of the patterns in this series. They will look great on display in my cubby shelf every year.

I am now stitching Christmas ornaments for the family. They are Cally ornaments.😺 I have to tell everyone to not look. It is hard. Madeleine has only one class she actually attends at her University, otherwise it is all online here. I can't just stitch these while she works her part time job.

📚wOw! If you want to read a thriller that has a quietly sinister Nanny in it that totally reminded me of Annie from Stephen King's Misery,😱 here ya go! (No this book is not graphic and gory.) Jo is a young single mother who must move home to her mother in England after the sudden death of her husband. Her young daughter finds a skeleton in the lake on their property and her childhood Nanny reappears out of nowhere. Creepy book!😬

Here is a sweet chart given to me to give away by our friend Robin

If you would like this chart by LHN, "Hot Cocoa", all you need to do, is be a side bar follower of mine, leave a comment on this post stating you would like this chart, I must have your email to contact you, and I will draw a name by Monday, November 23rd.  This is open to anyone, anywhere.

I am praying for all of us my friends. It is so very unsafe here in the United States. Take care wherever you are my dear friends. I care about you! Be safe.  And thank you for praying for my family. Amy is home and recovering well.

“Godliness with contentment is great gain.” —1 Timothy 6:6

Stitching and praying,

Have been reading your post for several months. Just recently got back into X stitch. Most of my patterns are from magazines I've picked up at yard sales. Would love to be able to do this small one. Enjoy reading your blog. Thanks and stay safe.

The flowers are beautiful. My subscription has lapsed because they refuse to send the magazines to the UK any more. I do intend to get the online subscription in the New Year though.
Good luck with the secret stitching, I recommend the bathroom LOL
Good luck for your country too, everyone important is coming onboard now and the rest of the world is right with you too.
In the meantime, we have the gift that is Four Seasons Total Landscaping!!

It's tough when you have to "sneak" your stitching time in, but I'm sure you'll get it done! I would like to throw my at into the drawing for the LHN chart--thanks!!!

Hi Vickie: They are adorable, I am so sorry so many are ill, I just hope this mess ends soon.
Please do not include me in the giveaway, I need to catch up on the designs I have already.

Hugs

Your new two patterns are beautiful. Oh, I know that too, I knit a shawl for my daughter and always take it with me on the evening shifts so that she can't see anything and it really is a surprise.
Oh how pretty, yes I like to hop into your lottery pot. I love the small motifs from LHN.
I continue to include Amy in my prayers and hope that your country will finally settle down, this year's election of the president was pretty exciting.
Have a nice weekend, Martina

Good morning!! I am so glad to hear that Amy is home! An answer to prayers. Your stitching is so tiny. LOL I'm doing a project on 32 count, over two. It's chunky! LOL Have a great weekend.

Two more lovely pieces for your cubby, beautifully finished.
Who can resist a creepy book, not me!
That is a cute chart, but I think I have it in my stash somewhere, now I'll need to look for it.
Take care of yourselves too, so glad to hear that Amy is home and doing better!

Two such tiny and delicate little finishes, Vickie! Very cute... And I look forward to seeing your Cally ornaments. That would be hard to have to hide your stitching from them. I still have to make the baby's ornament--way behind on my ornaments this year!

Enjoy your day--it was just snowing here, but the sun came out :) Very, very cold, though! ♥
