Let God

Hi friends! I have stitched up a new little addition for the cubby shelf.

🌸Let God by The nebby needle🌸 Two over one with all my own floss choices on white 25 ct linen.

🦃🍁T is for Turkey by Heartstring Samplery🍁🦃

Stitched one over one on mystery 32 count linen with some of the called for DMC, mostly my own choices, and one VMSS. LOVE this chart❣️ Thank you to our friend Nataly, who gifted me this pattern last year. I have now passed on this pattern to our friend Georgia. 🧡 I knew I wanted to finish this tiny, to fit it into an old black Lang's candle lid I saved for years. I will display this on my cornershelf.

I am busy stitching November monthly patterns now.

“I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning.” —Psalm 130:5-6

Stay safe my friends. Here in Wisconsin were are NOT safe. Our state’s Republican-controlled legislature has for months hindered attempts by Democratic Gov. Tony Evers to slow the virus’s spread. I have never felt more distressed in my life!  I have never been a registered party member, and I never will be. I have voted on both sides over my 51 years of life. I cannot wait until THIS election is OVER! How about you?🤪

Stitching and praying,

Vickie

Oh, Vickie. “Let God.” What a perfect stitch.

Especially these days, huh?

T is for Turkey is lovely, stitched OVER ONE on 32 count? My head is spinning.

I look forward to a time when honesty, decency, love and unity are the prevailing themes. VOTE. Pray. And let God.

When a thought of hate comes, replace it with a stronger thought of love. When a thought of war comes, replace it with a stronger thought of peace.

What a perfect piece to stitch and share during this time, Vickie! Let God says it all. And I believe we as a country need to return to Him.

Thinking of you, be safe and have a joy-filled weekend!

It's so sad and unbelievable to see what is going on in your country... <3. Hope you stay safe and that the election will have the right outcome <3.

Two very pretty finishes, Vickie! I so love that turkey and may try to stitch him this month--we'll see. I really love Thanksgiving stitching and have done a fair amount in past years, though, so I may move on to Christmas :) Take care now and happy November!

What pretty stitching. I love both pieces, Yes, I will be so glad when the election is over. I do fear for our country. Several states have already issued warnings about civil unrest no matter who wins. I have been praying about this one and like you, I am not really a party member.

Good morning and happy Sunday! Your stitching is lovely. Over one? You are a brave woman. I laughed when you said you had saved a lid for years before using it as a finishing item. LOL I totally get it.

I am disgusted at the hate and the deliberate spread of fear. If Covid is not dangerous, how do you explain the deaths? My heart hurts for all of those affected. I don't vote on party lines either. How do politicians justify the lies? How do their supporters justify their belief in those lies? I'm tired, too.

I love your newest cubby piece, it's very much needed in today's times.
Your Turkey finish is so lovely, just in time for Thanksgiving.
I honestly don't know how I'm voting this year, or if I can. I'll be glad when it's over too, but I wonder what will happen afterwards?

Two beautiful designs and mini stitching. The cover gift for next month's Cross Stitcher is a calendar of mini samplers. I can send you the charts when I finish with them, I think they will be just your style!
I do feel for you all in the US, your system is so broken and this election is high lighting it more than ever. Biden seems to be what we would call a Centrist candidate, not left wing at all and the other option is so far right it's not credible. I've been watching the results and keeping my fingers crossed for you all.
