Oh Yeah!

Hi friends!  I found the perfect linen in my stash for the wedding sampler. I got it from our friend Gracie a few years ago. It is WDW Baby's Breath. The problem is that the piece is just barely too small. 😖 Blast! So close, but I need to do this right for our dear son's wedding sampler. So I found the same linen online. That was hard to do! It must not be made anymore? Well it has come, and wouldn't you know, it is of course, lighter in color. It is okay. I still like it and it still works. Here are the linen and the flosses I am going to use to make the wedding sampler.
For now I am leaving you in the dark for wedding sampler. My son does know about my blog. I doubt he checks here.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

While I waited for linen to come in I stitched another monthly piece.
🍎September freebie by romyfrees.blogspot.com 🍎 I stitched this two over two on 28ct white Jubilee using DMC and VMSS. The fabric shown is the backing material.

🖤💙Oh Yeah! by kateblandford on Instagram💙🖤 I finished this two weeks ago for my brother Mike for his 50th! birthday!🥳 I was able to give it to him last weekend at the sweltering, socially distant outside party.🥵 We all survived. Just barely!🌡️ If you know Mike, you know he says, "Oh yeah!", quite a bit. It's just a Mike thing.🥰

Have a safe, happy weekend my friends! Thank you for stopping by!

Stitching and praying,

Such a beautiful shade of linen for your son's wedding sampler. Can't wait to see what you'll be stitching on it, Vickie :) October will be here before we know it! Your little September finish and gift for your brother are very cute, too. Hope you enjoy these last few days of August ♥

The Wedding Sampler is going to be gorgeous, I love the darker reds.
That's a fun piece for your brother, lovely to make a personal gift everyone will recognise. A bit like you and poodles!

Oh Vickie, I love that little piece , I am so happy to have won it. I try hard not to ask for anything I really don't think that I will stitch. It might be Spring but I will get to that one for sure. I ordered "The Women of the Mayflower" so I expect that to be a big job. Your wedding sampler has lovely colors. Yes, by all means, keep it a secret till you give it to the happy couple.

I also like the September motif very much, it fits so nicely with the small details.
Have a nice weekend, Martina

I can't wait to see the wedding sampler! Even though the linen is lighter than you expected, it looks really good with the floss colors!

I'm looking forward to seeing what you're going to stitch them. This would just be the time he decides to take a look too! Beautiful colours in there.
September looks good, I can't believe it's that time already.
It's so nice when you find something that fits someone perfectly, lucky Mike!
Have fun stitching that one, Barb.
