🐈

Hi friends! Thank you so much for all of your love, support, and prayers during this time of grieving. God bless you.💗
You can see my little surprise! Her name is Cally.😻I'll bet you did not even know that I like cats did you? 😉I still want another toy poodle, BUT our little toy poodle Henry has a SECOND herniated disc in his neck. He has been recovering for two months already, and it is obvious he will have to remain on medication daily for the rest of his life. He is so happy and so playful still every day, that we just cannot risk getting another toy poodle. He would definitely play with her and injure himself terribly. SO... we got a Himalayan! Brian and I had talked of getting a Himalayan WAY BACK when we were dating. We never did. Now we rescued Cally.
She is an 8 year old Dilute Calico Himalayan. Norman, her 95 year old! owner, had to go into a nursing home. She is 6 pounds and so is Henry! 😊They respect each other. She is SO affectionate. A purring machine. And GORGEOUS!

I have yet to get back to stitching. I will. Maybe tonight.

Please, if you would, pray for my Mom? Thank you so much❣️

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.” Jeremiah 17:7

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Hi Vicki, Caffe is beautiful:) And, yes I am surprised that you got a cat. This explains all of the "Cat Who Mysteries." Isn't it amazing how these older pets adjust to new homes? Please know that your family and especially your mom are in my prayers:)

Cally is beautiful! But I'm so sorry to hear about poor Henry. :( I'm glad to hear that his meds help him to feel good at least. I will definitely be praying for your mom.

No, I didn't know that you also like cats, but the little lady is really cute. A pretty girl. And nice that she gets on so well with Henry. I hope he's fine.
I wish you much strength in this difficult time and that your mom will survive everything well.

Cally is gorgeous, Vickie! We had a Himalyan/Siamese mix, Summer, for 18 years. She was the best cat I ever had in that she "talked" to me all the time! Praying for your mom...

You got a cat! I love cats. Now you need Madeline to draw her portrait for your cubby. And maybe design some cat designs for us!

I am so sorry to read of the loss of your step-dad. I trust God is sending great comfort to your Mom, and you, and your family. I have never visited your lovely blog before, but I found you through your comment on Julie's blog, "More of Him." I am so worried about her and was wondering if you know how she and her husband are doing? I am praying and have had them on my mind so much. If you happen to know how they are and can drop me an email to let me know, I would be most grateful to you. God bless and comfort all of your hearts during this difficult time in your family.
