The Top Five

Hi friends! It is time for me to share my Top Five favorite Christmas ornaments from the JCS 2017 Special Holiday Issue. Except, I am sharing 9!! HA! Out of the "70+ Ornaments" in the magazine, I honestly only see myself stitching these 9. I am just listing them as I came across them in the magazine.

Aren't these great ones? I really like them. Do you? Have you seen this issue? Do you have a favorite? I still really look forward to this issue every year. I enjoy just flipping through old issues.😊

We continue to show our home. Which means constantly keeping it spotless.🙄

I have been stitching up the freebie for my cubby shelf on 40 ct, one over one. I am getting close to a finish.

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement last time. I surprised all of you by our plans to move to an apartment. It is definitely a BIG change for us!

I hope you have a stitchtastic weekend my friends!

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Great choice, Vickie. My favorite among the ones you chose would be the bauble by Patricia Ann.
I haven't seen the new issue yet and I don't know if I will buy it. I have most of the past issues and there are still some wonderful designs that I haven't stitched yet. Maybe I should stitch some of them before I buy a new issue :)

Good picks, Vickie! Snow cone Snowman made my list. I think I have marked 12 from this issue. I usually mark a few more once I see them stitched by others. Enjoy your weekend!

What a nice selection!
I do not have access to this magazine unless I order it online, but I know it is always bursting with sweet little makes.
I live in a home but grew up in apartment and am forever asking hubby to move back in one... no success so far :(

I was planning on ordering this today so it was nice to see your preview :)

Hang in there with keeping the house spotless--I know that must be exhausting!

Several of your favorites were also my favorites. At least there were some this year, cause I remember last year... not so much! Hugs!

I went off the magazine a few years back but I love that you have managed to get so many positives from it. I am even beginning to see it in a slightly new light!

Mine came in the post yesterday. Only having had a quick flick through I'm a little disappointed with this issue. There is only about 3 maybe 4 I would stitch. Of course when people start showing their finishes I may look at pieces in a different light. Have a good weekend.

Vicki, I see you found some pink!!! Do you order this online or do they sell it at the craft stores? I didn't notice it there the last time but that was over a week ago.

Good luck on selling the house, it must be tiresome to keep it "show" ready. Mary

As others have said, as soon as I see others' stitching, I want to stitch it myself. We have some in common and I want to do the hardanger tree as well. Good luck with your move!

Nice preview of the magazine showing those you ornaments you like. My newsagent doesn't get it for ages yet so will have to wait to see it later this year.

Nice ornament choices :-)
I've only got a couple of the ornament magazine, they are quite
expensive to buy in the UK.

I think this year I am not going to get the ornament issue as there are still so many from the previous issues that I might stitch up. But I do like the designs that you've posted here Vickie!

I haven't "officially" received my copy of the magazine yet, but I do like the verse on the My Big Toe one, I think I'll make that myself, for sure! I like all your choices though-can't wait to see them! :)
