🐤

Hi friends! I finished the little Easter freebie I was working on. It did NOT take one hour to stitch up as the designer suggested, but that is okay. It is adorable, don't you agree?
You can find this freebie HERE. I stitched this one over one on 28ct white Meran linen using DMC of my own choosing.

I am now back to stitching up my mom's birthday gift. It is a freebie with a black cat. I need to think up a way to finish this piece for her.

I have pink pansies!!😊 I only have some of them planted as of yet. I can only get into the garden in short spurts or my headache soars. Even while wearing polarized sunglasses in the shade.

Speaking of pink.... Have you seen this awesome HUGE set of PINK freebies by Maria Diaz? It is only available for a few more days this month. Go now!!! CLICK HERE
What is in the center of it all?!? Oh yeah!! The best!! Woo hoo!! A PINK POODLE!!🐩🐩🐩

Our sweet, little Henry had a dental cleaning this week. He had 5 teeth pulled. The poor boy lost all four of his front and center teeth. 😞 He is on antibiotics and pain medicine. It is common for toy breeds to lose their teeth unfortunately.

Thank you for stopping in today friends. I will have another chart to giveaway next week. I hope you have a beautiful weekend!

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Your little chicken is so sweet - I saw this and thought that's way more than 1 hours' stitching so I was pleased to see it wasn't just me!

Poor little Henry! No more sweets or bones for him.
The chick is so cute but an hour? More like an evening.
Thanks for the pink freebies too.

So sorry about your little one. That must be very uncomfortable. I do love the small design. With all those colors, I would never be able to stitch it in one hour!

poor little boy, hope he's feeling ok today. Super cute little finish. I've a book that is 2hr cross stitching - some charts have over 1500 stitches! That's not possible in 2 hrs!

Hi Vickie,

I love your little chick finish! It is absolutely adorable! Everything about it is just so precious! As for finishing it in an hour...umm no definitely not me...lol...but that is okay...it is worth whatever it takes...love it!

Pink pansies are perfect and definitely something that should be in your garden! The thought alone just makes me smile!

Please give Henry a pat for me...he has been through a lot!

Sending lots of hugs and love your way my friend! I hope you have a great weekend! Enjoy your stitching!

Oh, poor little Henry--I hope he feels better very soon, Vickie. That whole experience sounds quite traumatic!

Pink pansies? I've never seen them--hope you'll share a photo of yours when they're all planted. Thank you for the link to the pink patterns. One of my young co-workers is expecting a baby girl and one of those might make a perfect ornament or card for her :)

Love your tiny chick finish--must print that one out to do next year!

Hope this last week in April is a good one for you, Vickie!

Vickie your little chick is so adorable. Is that a printers box he is sitting in. Hope Henry feels better quickly. I would love to see your pink pansies too. I've never seen them in pink...they must be so pretty. I hope your treatments help those terrible headaches. I suffer from sinus headaches and I know how bad they can get. RJ

Love your little chicken finish -- so adorable! Poor Henry!!! :( I didn't know that about toy breeds losing their teeth. So sad! I hate hearing that you are still affected by your headaches. I hope your next treatment does its magic and takes them away for you.

It would be interesting to see the version that was stitched in 1 hour... yours is beautiful.
