My wrist is improving slightly. I see the doctor tomorrow.
Know what is in this project bag from Barbara?
14 rows of tumbler blocks! I have 14 rows done, so 602 tumblers are sewn into rows, waiting to be joined together. I still need 215 different pink fabrics if you can believe it. Yes! I figured it all out correctly this time. For real. When this Epic All Pink Tumbler Charm Quilt is done, it will have 817 total different pink fabrics. Whew! I keep buying new, pink fabrics as they roll in to JoAnn. As you can imagine, I have put quite a lot of money into this quilt already!
I forgot to get a picture last week, so here ya go now. Emerson has a pair of socks. ;) (And a few others.)
I read Southern Living Magazine. I check it out from our library. I found a good recipe in the August issue. Approved by the family, and it used up our last eggplant. Crispy Eggplant, Tomato, and Provolone Stacks With Basil
Reading and praying,

We have also had the first frosts and also during the day it's rather cold. So, no garden work but only stitching.
The recipe you found seems to be awesome as these stacks look gorgeous. And as it's lunch time over here I have to go and prepare lunch for my husband and me now.
Vickie, you have made my day. Gladiolas were my Mother's favorite flower. I remember her having a whole garden full of them in every shade. Good memories. The recipe sounds tasty and I will have to check out my fabrics for any new pinks I might of bought lately.
Blessings
Hi Vickie: Emerson's socks look wonderful and warm too, nice job.
Mabel looks like she likes her picture taken.
Yummy looking food, I love eggplant.
It sounds like your quilt is really coming along, I should find more pink fabric for you.
At our last home I had Gladiola's, but my husband accidentally poured cement on the top of them in the spring, I was sad, he felt so bad, your Glad's are beautiful.
Blessings
Catherine
I love eggplant too. My Dad loved glad's too. Your pink one is pretty. I bet if you keep covering the others they will bloom. Mabel is a sweet pretty pup. big hugs Lynda Ruth

Dear Vicky ,
first of all thank you very much for your comforting words , and your prayer . You're Marvellous. Your flowers are gorgeous and the sight of her makes me happy . Today with us the sun came out a little and everything seemed much friendlier . The socks are again very chic ideal for the cold seasons , I wear exclusively knitted socks , in all colors and variations . I am pleased that it comes your wrist slightly better .
Greetings Sandra

The glads are gorgeous and I hope you get good news from the doctor. Hooray for a pair of socks - they look cozy.
Oh, Vickie, your flowers are beautiful!! I hope you get a few more days of enjoyment from them before the frost takes it's toll.
I wish I could knit socks...sigh...I'm jealous of Emerson....
I will be thinking of you tomorrow at the doctor. I am praying for some relief for you.

Oh, I can imagine how much you are missing your stitching, Vickie! I sure hope things improve soon. Can't imagine how many pink fabrics will be in your guilt when it is finally done. How wonderful that you've received so many pink fabrics from stitching friends from around the world to help a bit :)

Dear Vicky,
I hope your wrist is healing well and your stitching break will have an end soon.
Your gladiolas are amazing - I have never seen such a soft pink tone on gladiolas - so pretty!
Have a wonderful rest of the week!

Praying you get some help from your doctor for your wrist so you can start stitching again!! Your flowers are gorgeous and I know your quilt will be, too, when you're done.
Blessings - Julie
Its turning colder here in the UK - I am so sorry your wrist is so painful. Thinking of you. Lovely photos xx
Hello Vickie ! the gladiolas are very pretty and I really love the idea of your "epic pink quilt -with -all -the pink -fabric -that exist " :D :D
Thank You for the recipe :)
Don't you love Barbara's bags? I love my purple one, and loved the pink butterfly one I gave to my friend! Still need more pink? Wow! 817 is a LOT of variety, for sure! We have had frosts too... summer has definitely gone. But today it is high 70's, so people will be fooled. Not me... Still praying!
