Meet Winky

Good morning everyone! I hope you are having a great day. I accidentally bit down on a cherry pit yesterday and was rewarded with the sickening crack of my lower left molar. A piece broke off. Not too much pain really. Unfortunately, it is a time of insurance change. We have been to the same dentist since Brian and I were teenagers!! We hated leaving him. So, like dummies, we put off finding a new dentist under this insurance. Now I can't get in until Tuesday, and who knows when the tooth will actually get fixed!

So, this is Winky. He is Madeleine's parakeet. He is 4. He has never said a word!! We try and try and try.

I made him some birdie samplers on plastic canvas. I think he loves them. ;) These are parts I used from freebies.

Have a most wonderful day in the Lord my new and old friends!

Still stitching and still praying,
Vickie

sorry about the tooth. stinks leaving a doctor or dentist you have been going to for years. the health industry really needs a revamp. third world countries are run much better when it comes to health. USA is way down the list. the parakeet is so pretty

Such a cute parakeet! Too bad he doesn't talk. But I love his birdie samplers on his cage! Sorry about your tooth, and I'm really sorry you had to switch dentists. Such a bummer! Hope you aren't in too much pain. Pretty flowers!

Really darling lil budgie, he's quite the sampler collector:) Tip: if tooth is a bit jagged/causing discomfort (can be very painful when constantly scraping against tongue or tender inner cheek), you can try covering tooth with a bit of dental wax from drug store (the kind used when wearing braces) until you get to dentist. Have a good weekend!

Beautiful flowers, and such a cute bird, I always had a bird in the house, but my last one Marty died and I got so upset my DH said no more.
Hope you get to the dentist soon, hugs.

So sorry to hear about 'that tooth', I hope you don't get any pain before you can get to the dentist. Enjoyed reading Proverbs 31, isn't that what we try to attain. Perhaps Winkie doesn't speak english! x

Sorry to hear about your tooth! Its always challenging to find any kind of health professional, especially one that makes you feel at ease.

Hmmm birds, not a big fan of them as pets. My Mum has a small parrot not a big fan of him.
