A Hug In A Cup

Hi friends! I have good news about my stepdad Jim. He has had the PET of his body. He has no other cancer in his body. He has an MRI to check his brain for cancer scheduled for Monday. Please pray that he only has the Small Cell Cancer in his lung. Thank you very much dear friends!💗

No, I am still not showing you Emerson's gift.😔It is at the framers. I WILL show it to you next time!

Here is Madeleine's birthday gift!
This is by Hands On Design, A Hug In A Cup. I stitched it just as the pattern suggested, two over two with the recommended DMC on 32ct Legacy Belfast linen.
Madeleine is the only coffee drinker in our household. I love the way that the DMC 309 matches her coffee maker.

Madeleine is in her last year of university. She is taking Studio Art. She just finished an Icon Writing Workshop. This is an Icon of Archangel Michael she painted. Needless to say, Brian and I could not be more proud of her.
Also, I wanted to share with you that our friend Nancy is having a HUGE  BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY! You need to stop by her blog to enter for a chance to win these awesome flosses!

Thank you so much for stopping by my friends! I appreciate your friendship and support!

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.”
1 Corinthians 13:4

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

I love the coffee design, what a sweet gift for your daughter.
I totally see your daughter has talent, St. Michael the Arch Angel is my husbands favorite Saint.
I hope your daughter continues to paint and maybe someday have a viewing at an art museum, I would travel to see it.

Catching up. Sorry to hear about the diagnosis but wonderful news so far. Four months ago he was clear? Wow. I don't know why they checked him again but good thing they did.
