Halleluia

Hi friends! Let me share the ornament I have created for my mom this year with you. It is from this year's Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornaments Issue. This pattern is called Halleluia by Nikyscreations. I stitched it two over two on mystery 30 count sparkly fabric.
The fabric you see it lying on, is what I backed the ornament with. I found those BEAUTIFUL, PINK ribbons at Hobby Lobby. Just what I needed!

I have not shared the latest ordeal  that I have been going through. You may recall I have severe neck arthritis. I had a cortisone injection in my neck almost two years ago for the pain, which caused the daily migraines THAT HAVE NEVER GONE AWAY SINCE THEN AND NO DOCTOR HAS BEEN ABLE TO HELP ME GET RID OF THEM. Anyhow, about two months ago I opened the bedroom window and turned to walk away and it fell onto my left shoulder/upper arm. The window is the kind that stays connected at the bottom so you can clean the outside. Well the thing broke and fell on me! A HUGE, TALL window. It hurt. I had a minimal bruise. I did not think a lot about it. Weeks passed. My shoulder and arm started causing me bad pain. I mean BAD pain. I have clicking in my shoulder and I cannot raise my arm. Maybe my neck also is causing pain. I finally decided to see the doctor. I had x-rays. She wanted to make sure I did not have a  rotator cuff tear. There was not a tear. So she ordered physical therapy. Ha! Once again back to Leigh my old physical therapist.

Leigh did an evaluation of my shoulder and neck and said Yep! A lot of this pain is stemming from my neck actually. I told her I definitely FEEL this in my shoulder mainly. She said yes, but you would be surprised how much problems in the neck can cause problems in other areas. So we need to fix my neck and shoulder. I have exercises. She does deep massage.😧

All this reminds me of this:

Am I right?

More ornaments to share next time my friends. I want to thank you for your wonderful comments you have been leaving me. You make me feel happy with your kind words! Thanks.😘

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

yVicki, Your stitch for your mother is beautiful, I just love how you finished it with the layered look. I truly hope the PT eases your pain. I understand how horrible it is as I had surgery on my neck and still have issues with herniation's they could not fix. I pray it works for you.

Hi Vicky,
that's a sweet little ornament, and your finish looks great. I wish you for your neck and shoulders that it will get better soon. I know that too, when it hurts with every movement, a constant sharp sting. And from the neck goes out a lot. A lot of warmth always helps me a lot.
Love for you, Hugs, Martina

Dear Vickie I was so sorry to hear about your recent accident with the window. I hate to hear that you are in so much pain. I must tell you what a wonderful person and friend you are to be concerned for others and so comforting when you have been dealing with this. You are very special. I'm praying that his time with Leigh will help greatly.

That is a gorgeous ornament but ouch for the latest pain! You really need a robot body to replace the one you have.
I do hope that the doctors find something to help you and soon.
