Plodding On

Hi friends! My accomplishment this weekend was Madeleine's shorts. Pretty easy when you follow a pattern. ;) Especially since I have made these before from this pattern a few years back for myself. Here they are in an orange linen blend material. Not the best picture.
I am stitching. I happen to be stitching up the exact same pattern I completed last week for my special friend. I wanted to make up one for myself so we each have one.  :) You'll see. Just not yet. Sorry.

So, all I have to show you now are a few daylily pictures.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments my friends. Maybe you do not realize how very, very much they mean to me. They mean a LOT to me. Especially right now, when I am trapped in the house so very much due to these headaches that are heat induced. I have done online research of my own. It is rather depressing, since there seems to be NO answers for us that suffer this. Just information.

The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Perfect pink pants! Nice and cool for the summer.

The hot weather certainly doesn't help with headaches I suspect. Hang in there.. still thinking of you often.

Great shorts, Vickie. The day lilies are so pretty. I'm so sorry to hear about your continuous discomfort. Please be kind to yourself - maybe this is the excuse to stitch up a storm in the cool recesses of your home....

Those are such cute shorts, Vickie. And the color is perfect for summer. I can imagine them with a white linen shirt and tiny little sandals. Not that I could fit into tiny sandals, but it sure would be cute. LOL Hang in there, sweetie, you know that there are prayers coming from California.

Cute shorts and beautiful flowers! Continued prayers for you, my friend. God knows what's happening even if no one else does and He will be faithful to you. I understand the "staying in" thing. It can be a bit overwhelming to be home all the time yet thankful that I have a comfortable home to be in. Nevertheless, it is hard to have our activity curbed.

Blessings - Julie

What a clever stitcher you are Vickie to make up patterns of your own. I wonder have you explored weather patterns relationship to headaches.I mention this because low cloud cover can cause headaches to those prone. Also dental issues, bite etc. can cause headaches. Or arthritis of the jaw or head...I am just thinking out loud here but would so like you to discover a cause and find a blessed relief!

Hi Vickie,

Lovely shorts!!! Madeleine must be very happy :)
I'm sorry in being this late, but André isn't too well so I help as much as I can ... and my sweet uncle has passed away, so my energy level isn't great either I must say. I try to keep going ...Nothing to worry about, my friend, but I hope you understand my 'radio silence' ...

Hugs and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, Carolien
