Hi friends! It has cooled down here considerably, with highs in the 70's. Nice. Especially since our two young friends were married yesterday at a Serbian Orthodox Church, not too far away. This was the most holy wedding Brian and I have ever attended. It was absolutely wonderful. A blessing to attend. What a lovely service and a perfect reception.
It is time for me to share my Top Five favorite Christmas ornaments from the JC 2015 Special Holiday Issue.
1. Noelle, a Christmas Angel by Brooke's Books Publishing
Is this not gorgeous?!? And big? And intimidating?
2. Pure Love by The Snowflower Diaries
3. White Christmas by New York Dreamer
4. My Christmas Window by OMG!
5. Little Christmas House by La-D-Da
Some day they will all be stitched.(I hope!) Could not tell you when that day will be. ;) Did you see the ornaments yet? Do you have a favorite? Do tell!
I made up and sent one gift on it's way to a friend. Hope to get the next friend's gift out in the mail tomorrow.
Still stitching up Mabel. So much shading and so many greys!
I enjoy pumpkin all year round, but most especially in the fall. I made this new-to-me recipe and it was a hit! Pumpkin Cream Cheese Brownies
I also bake bread year round. I know I have shown you this kind before, but it has been a while since I shared a loaf of bread with you. :)
I hope you have a stitchtastic week my friends! I plan to!
Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Oh I love the angel too .
My friend will be sending me this mag soon so I can have a god look then.
Have a good week hugs.
The angel is gorgeous, my fave. wow, you already made one ornie, congrats:) And you just made me hungry, haha
Love all those ornaments you picked out. Now I can't wait to get my issue on Wednesday. Have a great week.
Blessings
Oooh, I really like White Christmas... so cute!!
We are still in the 80s here which is cooler than what it was, but I would love have your 70s.There are a few I want to stitch up too. I love The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery, Dragon Dreams and of course Blue Ribbon Designs. I was sad to see a few of my other favorite designers were not in it this year. CCN, L*K and LHN. I hope Mabel is feeling better. I love to bake as well, just not in the summer. I will check out the pumpkin brownies for DH, he loves pumpkin. Good for you on making bread. That is one adventure I haven't tried, yeast intimidates me.
I love that Brooke's Books angel, too... gorgeous! If you've never done one of her designs, don't worry about being intimidated. They're detailed, but they're not difficult, and they are so fun to stitch. And of course, the results are eye-popping! Go for it!
My ornament for this year is Joyful Santa by Homespun Elegance, and DH has chosen Plenty by Hands on Design, but he wants me to do a color conversion. :O)
I had been debating on whether to get this issue or not. I've VERY tempted. :-)
Hi Vickie, I would not be a good one to chose because I like all of them. My fingers have been stitching away. I am just about to finish my latest lap quilt. Then it is back to Halloween tea towels. I am so glad about Mabel. Have a wonderful day stitching and enjoy the nicer weather. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend Shirley
Lovely designs you picked up
Enjoy!
What a yummy bread loaf :)
Love the designs you chose:)
Got my issue too. Are you going to attempt the Brooke Nolan one? She does such original designs and I love the way she does female faces.
I love your top five. Just had a photo session of my top five - post coming up:) Lovely bread! love Annette
I just got my copy of the Christmas Ornament issue yesterday and haven't gone through it yet. But that's a great idea posting our favorites from it! May I borrow your idea and do that on my own blog?

Interesting to see your five - I do like White Christmas!
Having a catch up read after a busy weekend .. good news Mabel about Mabel and what a cute poodle stitchy project, you've go the shading so perfect.
Nice choice your top 5 are, i'll have to wait a bit longer for the mag here in the UK
Wishing your friends many years of happiness as they embark on married life.
{Hugs}x
After seeing your Top Five and Annette's this morning, I definitely need to get this issue pronto :) Love all of your choices, Vickie, and I look forward to seeing which one you stitch first.
Very nice picks, I still need to get my hands on a copy. The Halloween issue was kind of disappointing
I love seeing those favourite-ornies-posts when the new JCS issue is published. So I have the chance to see lots of ornaments before I'm able to buy the issue here. I love the White Christmas one with its pastel colours.
Haven't seen the new edition yet, like your choices, though, but would probably just admire someone else's stitching of Brooke's angel! How lovely about the wedding, bodes well for the marriage. Many forget that the wedding is but one day!
What a great idea to share your top five ornaments out of the 2015 magazine. I am so much looking forward to receiving my copy of it - it seems to have many wonderful ornaments this year!
Hugs

Eagerly awaiting my copy of the magazine now! I like your choices but I also like the octagonal one on the cover too.
I love each one you picked too! I've been wondering if I could even attempt to do Noel...I think she'd be lovely at the top of our tree :)
HI Vickie -
I was happy to read your blog today. I have been so busy I forgot the new catalog was coming out. I am working the school bookfair today and I will have to order my copy as soon as I get home.
CJ
I don't get the magazine but it was lovely to have a sneaky peek through your post.
