Just Stitching and Praying

Hi friends! Were you able to see the Blood Moon? All five of us watched the Supermoon Lunar Eclipse last night. Neat!

I have stitched a bit more on Henry. And embroidered a bit more on my brother's autographs. No pictures to share though.

I have been picking out the patterns to stitch up for Christmas ornaments for the three children. Pretty sure I know what I am doing for them now.

Do you sometimes wonder where friends disappear to? I do. I do not do Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, so I miss friends on Blogger. There is a friend of ours I have been missing. Our dear friend Cucki. I emailed her this morning. Our sweet friend is still not feeling well. She is staying with her mother. I know the love and care she will get from her mom will make her feel better. Would you join me in prayer for Cucki's health?

Winky says "Hi!"
I will have stitching pictures for you next time my friends. And I have a lovely, dark pink dahlia finally opening up. Remember the Walmart clearance pink plants? I forgot to get a picture of the one pink gladiola bulb that bloomed this year! So I will get a picture of the dahlia this week.

Let me know if you need prayer. I am always praying for friends! :)

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

What a lovely post Vickie... I just got back from my walk, my three rosaries have been said and my heart is lighter than when I began. I always offer my rosaries to those in need and for those I have been blessed to pray specifically for. Today my heart needed lightened and my walk and prayer helped :) it's an amazing thing, prayer. Have a fabulous day!

I will include Cucki in my prayers -- I'm glad you got in touch with her to see how she is. I don't do Facebook, but I do do Instagram. It's my addiction now. :D

Hi Vicky,
unfortunately the Supermoon appeared that late in the night (or better that early in the morning) here - so we weren't able to watch it.
I did not know Cucki up to now, but send my deepest prayer for her recovery!

Hugs
Hilda

Thank you for letting us know about Cucki. There are a few bloggers I haven't seen around for a while and I'm going to take a leaf out of your boom and send them a quick email. I don't do Facebook etc either.
Stitching and praying Vickie!

Thank you for the update on Cucki. I'm vnot on FB or any social media except Pinterest. It's hard when bloggers drop off without notice. I always feel concern. I'll be praying for Cucki.

Cloudy here, no moon. I thought Cucki was doing better so I am sad to hear she is still not well. Tell her we are all thinking of her and wishing her well.

Good evening, Vickie. We had a bit of cloud cover and only saw the last thirty minutes of the eclipse. I'm sure my neighbors thought I was crazy...sitting in the dark...on my front lawn...in my jammies. LOL

I will be waiting for your pictures...you have such pretty flowers.

You are so very thoughtful. Thank you for being you.

You are such a wonderful person and very thoughtful Vickie, bless you and your friend Cucki.

Our atmosphere is still hazy and gloomy. It's like we are on another planet, one with no sun :(

I'd not realized that Cucki was not well, though now that I think about it she has not commented in several weeks. Thanks for touching bases with her. Cool moon last night!

Totally missed out on the blood moon... I was fast asleep :D
Thought Cucki was still not feeling well after her accident.
I'm sure her mum will bring much support & TLC x

I will join you in praying for Cucki!
We were able to see the lunar eclipse quite well here in E. Washington and didn't have to stay up late to do so! :D

Oh Vicki, that was so sweet of you to check on Cucki. I am on FB and do see the odd post from her, but like most of the girls thought she was on the mend after being so ill. I see she has left a comment here too... so I will add her to my prayers and thoughts and send her a email as well
Hugs to you all xx

It's so wonderful to think of all our blogging friends who were watching the beautiful supermoon at the same time.

Yes, I often wonder where some of the old blogging friends have gone. Like you I'm not on other platforms like IG or FB, and sometimes I sned an email just to make sure that nothing has happened. So nice of you that you emailed Cucki. I will be thinking of her and hope that her health will improve very soon.
