The Chart Winner

Hi friends! Thank you for the encouraging comments you left me about my work on A Wish For You. I will show you how much stitching I have accomplished over the weekend. I concentrated on the BIG house.
Here is how far Emerson has come on his woodpecker embroidery. You can see that he has been working at it for hours. He shortened the beak, changed the throat, thinned the breast a bit, and changed the tail also. Lots of unstitching! Not fun he tells me. I tell him, "I know!" ;) He has broken two needles in the process.
Not one person who lives in the United States left a comment stating they would like the Kingsland pattern I offered one week ago. Only our dear friend Jo. So guess what Jo? ;) Yes, I am sending it to you. 😊

I will continue on with A Wish For You this week. I need to force myself to take a break though and do a little finishing on a seasonal piece that is so cute, it just has to see the light of day and be made up! See? I am typing this here, so that I now must do it. I am just really, really enjoying A Wish For You.

Little, tiny bits of green are just starting to poke up out of the ground here. I have not one thing blooming. Hopefully soon.

I hope that you my friends have a really nice week! Thank you for stopping by.

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Hello Vickie,

You're both making great progress! Considering the fabric (which seems difficult to work on to me) two broken needles is not much :)

Happy stitching you both & have a good week. Please tell Emerson his woodpecker is so beautiful!

Hugs across the ocean, Carolien

Good Morning Vickie,

Your stitching is looking wonderful as usual! The house is just perfect and fits right in with your other blocks! I love how you are making this sampler your own! The woodpecker that Emerson is working on is terrific as well! I totally agree that ripping is no fun ... but his changes look great so it was worth the extra effort! Great job Emerson!

Green is coming and soon there will be flowers and lots of lovely Spring things to enjoy...hooray!

Sending lots of hugs and love!

Your AotH piece is coming along nicely. I'm not a "pink" person, but I really like the color of the house. I was woken up this morning by a woodpecker and much prefer Emerson's! :)

Great stitching from both of you!

Both projects are coming along nicely. I think I would have broken more than two needles working on that woodpecker embroidery. Jean fabric can be so tough to stitch on. But the finished woodpecker will look fantastic when completed.

Emerson is doing such a wonderful job on the bird. It's looking very nice. :) I love your Grandparents block. I am still admiring your creative solutions for getting the white to show up. Very creative indeed my sweet friend! You are truly a master of the needle.

Wishing you a lovely day sweet friend. ((hugs)) Blessings always.

Such a pretty house, Vickie, and I like the effect you are getting by using the two colors. So glad you could squeeze in their names :)

I imagine stitching the woodpecker on denim is quite exhausting, but Emerson is doing a wonderful job :)

We finally have daffodils blooming here so yours will surely arrive very soon! Enjoy your day!

Hello Vickey! So sorry I have not commented here for a long time..i am going to foot operation after two weeks because of my arhtritis ,please say a little prayer for me.
