🐩

Hi friends! I have been stitching on the Bonus Chart for AotH this week. This is how far I have gotten.
one over one on 25ct cream Dublin linen
I am not going to stitch the alphabet and numbers as charted. I charted out the Jesus Prayer and will stitch that in after I have worked the border. If you are not familiar with the Jesus Prayer and would like to know more you can CLICK HERE.

I have  a cold with a nasty cough. It just won't go away. I cough so much that by the end of each day the headaches go up. 🙁 By the way, since the Botox injections the headaches are reduced. They are milder, but still there every day. The problem is that I have a second kind of headache also. Menstrual migraines.😱 Not good. Not good at all. Pain. For one week before my periods begin, it is like a man is pressing his thumbs into my eyeballs nonstop. The doctor gave me a prescription for it. Nope. Does not work. So I have another prescription to try next time. I am hoping!

I am hoping YOU have a great weekend! I am so glad you came by to say hi.

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Love your stitching, the prayer will be perfect in it. I'm sorry you feel unwell with headaches, I can understand how you feel as have had so many headaches triggered by almost anything all my life. Two things I always find good are the cold strips you can put on your forehead, and inhaling over a bowl of steaming water (if you can add a few menthol crystals, but only a few) sending hugs x x

Not familiar with the chart you are working on but love the border. It will be so pretty with the prayer inside. Hope you get over your cough and cold very soon so it stops aggravating your headaches.
Blessings

Good Morning Vickie,
Your stitching on the bonus chart is just lovely...as usual...do you know this bonus chart was the first of the AotH charts I saw stitched online and I fell in love with it right away and then when I saw the rest well....I knew I would stitch it someday...I just loved it so much! The prayer will look just perfect inside! You always have such great ideas!

I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well either...I have literally been in bed all week with the worst flu bug with cough I have ever had! My whole family has it at the same time...it has been so much fun...not :) You know what they say...the family that coughs together stays together :)

I hope you feel better soon in all areas...sending hugs with lots of love my dear friend!

Wonderful, perfect prayer. I love your stitching, I can't wait to see it all finished.

I am sorry about the cold and cough. We had it at my house and it took Hubby about a month to get over, but he had complications with his asthma so that is why it took him so long. I pray yours is quick and you are back on the mend soon.

I will also pray for your headaches. ((hugs)) and blessings always sweet friend.

Hi Vickie,
I hope you're able to get rid of the cough and bug that has been plaguing you lately. Sure doesn't help the headache.

You're latest little project is adorable!
Have a wonderful weekend!

I pray your cough and cold go away soon. So glad that your migraines are better; praying your other medication helps.

Nice stitching. Sorry you are down with a cold. Yes margarines are common during your menstrual and ovulation cycles. I get them too. Continued prayers for you my friend.

With the addition of the Jesus prayer, that will be lovely. Sorry you are not feeling well. It took forever for my poor DH to stop coughing after he had the bug.

Beautiful stitching.I like the way you are going to change the design.
My DH sympathises, his cough was dreadful, these bugs are particularly nasty this year.

You made such a great start on the bonus chart of Anniversaries.
So sorry that a nasty cold and more headaches got in the way. But the good news is that the botox is actually doing its thing - at least to a certain degree.

... and I wish you a speedy recovery from the cold so that the cough will go away soon.

I just found that pretty pattern this week, and looking forward to starting it myself.:) I love that you're substituting the Jesus Prayer. I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks!

Oh those headaches, Vickie! I'm so sorry you have been sick on top of them. My husband is currently on his second cold or whatever he has had, and I'm trying desperately not to get it.

What beautiful stitching! Can't wait to see your adaptation. : )

Take care, Vickie, and I hope you are feeling better very soon!

Your stitching is beautiful! But the headaches. Sigh. Prayers being said.

Oh Vickie. That cough is horrible and my sister had to take double dose steroids to calm it. Still took a week to kick in. I used to use Bio-Freeze roll on across the forehead and temples. Helped a lot but mine weren't as bad as yours. Seems like you can't win.

Lovely border, it will look so nice when finished.
I'm so sorry you have a nasty cold, hopefully by now you're feeling better. Ugh, darn monthly! I know I'm looking forward to that ending, I bet you are too! I'm glad to hear the headaches have reduced, and I hope the next med will work for you next month.

What a lovely idea to stitch the prayer inside that pretty border, Vickie--it will be beautiful!

Ugh--more headaches and illness :-( I'm hoping that spring will arrive soon and kick that cold to the curb where it belongs. You take care now...

Love your current stitching project :o)
Sorry to hear about those nasty headaches... these ones I can relate to - I get them every month! Menopause is playing havoc with them now too - the last two months I have felt like chopping my head off.... you're right - nothing relieves the pain except time and the change in hormone levels!
Take care... stay well... stay warm
Hugs x
