Pomegranate Pincushion and Patriotic Prairie Schooler

Hi friends! I have the finished Pomegranate Pincushion to share with you.
Neato, isn't it?! This pattern is by Hands On Design. This pattern and linen were a gift from our friend Barbara.
This is stitched on the 30ct WDW Aztec Red linen, two over two with DMC.
The pattern for Pomegranate Pocket and  Pincushion and a piece of the linen to make ONE of these is available for you, if you would like. I offered them as a giveaway in my last post. Please leave me a comment if you would like to be entered in the giveaway. You must be a follower. I will be drawing a name on Monday, July 6th.
I made up a pin cube this week also. I can't show that to you quite yet, as it has two poodles on it, and they will be popping up in Jo's Summer Postcard Blog Hop. The theme this year is pets. ;)

Take a look here at a patriotic bandana I made for a certain little someone. I cut this to Henry size from our Mac's bandana. I have a box of Mac's bandanas. It just seemed like a good thing to do. :)
One year ago, I stitched up my two favorite strawberries from this pattern.
I finally made them up into strawberries yesterday. I used denim scraps for the strawberry tops. And yes, I just glued them on. ;)
This Prairie Schooler pattern was a gift from our friend Maggee. Would you like this pattern? You must be a follower. You must also live in America. Due to the size of the pattern, international mail will just be too costly for me. Tell me in the comments if you would like to be included in the giveaway. I will draw a name on Friday, July 10th.

I hope my American friends have a safe, blessed 4th! We will be headed to the parade and fireworks. :)

I appreciate you!

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Your stitching is so pretty and that red linen is gorgeous! It really showcases your stitching. I have lots of colored linens, but always hesitate to use it....maybe I should pick something small to start....

Those little strawberries look "delicious"! LOL And I also have a close, personal relationship with glue. LOL

Was für witzige Erdbeeren, gefallen mir sehr gut. Besonders das Nadelkissen finde ich ganz wunderbar. Wie immer ganz besondere Arbeiten von dir.
Wünsche dir ein schöne Wochenende

So many beautifully stitched and finished shapes! Love the pomegranate piece.. so unusual. Mr. Henry looks very dapper and quite ready for fireworks viewing!

As an aside, there was a local restaurant/bar chain called "Mr. Henry's" in the DC area for many years. Every time I see photos of your doggy with his name referenced, I'm always reminded of that restaurant and the many good times I had there.

Happy 4th!

Doesn't Mr. Henry look dapper!! Such a cute bandana for this weekend... Your pomegranate pincushion is lovely on the red, Vickie--wonderful finishing :)

The PS strawberries are great--and you wouldn't believe how much glue I use on my finishes!! I would love to be included in the drawing for the PS chart. You know what a PS fan I am and this is one I actually don't own! Thanks for the chance...

Enjoy the parade and fireworks... We'll be staying put this weekend so Tim can rest his neck.
