I Have Graduated

Hi friends! Our friend Maggee received the Hands On Design pattern she won in my giveaway. Now I can show you the bookmark that I made her and sent along also. :)
Maggee's favorite color is purple. I stitched the cross with DMC silver metallic. The cross and the M are stitched one over one on 28ct white evenweave.

I finished a small gift I have been making a friend. Cannot show you until it arrives at her house. ;)

I am done with physical therapy!  Yes, I have graduated. I need to continue on with my home exercise program. I had asked over a month ago how long I would need to continue my exercises at home. My therapist told me "For as long as you want to be better." ;) I am definitely improved. My pain is a 2 or 3 most days. We were never able to get rid of that deep muscle cramp that I have way down underneath my left butt muscle. So when pain is bad(rainy weather), it is like a strong cramp in that spot for hours. The stretches she gave me just do NOT get rid of that muscle spasm and cramping when things are not going good.  The TENS unit(muscle stimulator) that we purchased helps. I have not needed percocet in weeks.
I want to thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I appreciate every one of you taking time to stop by and say hi.

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Congratulations on your PT Graduation!!!

I want that poppy! LOL If you see someone creeping through your garden, with a tiny shovel, it is not me. LOL It is beautiful, so delicate it almost doesn't seem real.

Vickie, very good news about the level of your pain and knowing that you can control it with therapy. Your bookmark is so pretty....love purple. And once again you make me so jealous with your beautiful flowers. Ho hum....destined to have a brown thumb.

Congratulations on graduating from PT it is sometimes hard to just leave the house to do PT just for a half hour or hour, Mike finished his two weeks ago and is doing well at home with therapy.
Love the dog picture so cute.
Such a pretty bookmark and floral pictures.

Blessings

I'm so so happy you are doing so well after your PT! Makes sense that you will be doing the exercises from now on. I hope someday that deep down cramp goes away too.

yes, by all means, keep doing the exercises to stay relatively pain free! I love all of your flowers, but that pink poppy is so cool--having come from CA where poppies are orange, that intrigues me! Next year will be a flower year for me! Hugs!

Hooray for graduating! Even more hooray for not needing the percocet!! The bookmark is lovely, the initial matches so perfectly too!

I must say, even for the pink that poppy is absolutely stunning. It will not be me creeping through your garden with a tiny shovel either lol!

So good to read that you don't need your painkillers on a daily basis any longer. Wonderful to get rid of most of that pain through physio.
