Whoo Hoo! Now There Are Two!

Hi friends! After an irritating unstitching session, I am back on track. There unfortunately are a few mistakes in this Theotokos pattern. It is easier when you catch them first, hey? ;)

Yep! I am down to two remaining partially done pattern pages to finish, before I am FINISHED! No updated picture for you today.

Here is an updated picture of Mabel for you. ;) I gave her a haircut half a week ago.
She is looking tired and worn out here. I took this a few minutes after we were done with the grooming. I love the haircuts about as much as she does, but poodles do need their hair cut! She is the prettiest dog we have ever owned. I just love this precious, grey poodle.

You all know I love Henry too. He is cute, not pretty! ha! Here he is being the watch dog he is.
The latest baking I did was chocolate chip cookies. I have to make a double batch around this place, let me tell you! Everyone in the house wants some cookie dough to eat first. Yes, I know. Well, we do eat a bit of raw cookie dough. This is what the cookie jar looked like after I was done baking. And this is even after dough is eaten and over two dozen warm cookies are eaten.
I am still keeping up with my daily, chronological Bible reading. I am over half done with Genensis now. That is the only reading I am allowing myself presently. I am pushing on for the big finish on Theotokos.

Thanks for checking in. I appreciate your friendship!  Have a super week in the Lord my friends!

Stitching and praying,
Vickie
She's lucky she doesn't have a mohawk now

Frogging...ugh! So sorry you had to do that.
Cookies & cookie dough...yay! Looks like everyone was able to enjoy a lot if this is after some were eaten!
And both of your sweet dogs look so cute! Mabel does look a bit worn out! But I'm sure she's prancing around now, showing off her new 'do!!!!

Sweet photo of Mabel. Pup backsides always make good shots too and Henry is no exception.

Oh I hate frogging! Glad you're back on track. Mabel is such a pretty girl! That is a wonderful pic of her! Such a sweet, pretty face. Henry is just adorable! I bet he's a good watch dog. :D

I love to see the pictures of the dogs, Mabel looks just like the little poodle we had, I sure miss having a little dog sometimes! My boys always loved the raw cookie dough, I even started buying it by the tub, and they would eat it with a spoon, yum!

Me think you deserve a cookie (or two) to get over that unwanted frogging session :) x

That is great that you have only two partial pages left, Vickie!! You'll have an amazing finish in no time :)

Poor Mabel--I'll bet she's just tired of this winter weather. She probably wants to be outside more... That Henry looks like such an imp :)

I used to bake like that when my sons were all home--I really miss it!!

Mabel looks so darling.

Not fair when you have to frog on such a big project. But you sound as if you are still very cheerful. Is it the yummy cookies which are keeping your spirits up? :0)

Your cookies look delicious - I'm sure they disappear very quickly. Mabel and Henry are both adorable poodles - keeping them neat is hard work.

Aww, Maggie looks so sweet and what a good watch dog Henry is!

Only two more pages? Keep those frogs away, they are so annoying.

As for your cookies, suddenly I'm very hungry...

Pffft to the frogs......go away! Poor Mabel but all better until the next time. Oh whew, you eat it too, lol? Hugs to both dogs and beaming encouragement for a finish soon across the miles.

Um, another cookie jar?

This cookie jar is looking so delicious. And when you mention warm cookies I just get hungry, lol. But soon it will be time for lunch, that's good.
Such lovely pictures of Henry and Mabel.

Henry is very handsome! Mabel looks like she's glad it's over!

Frogging is never fun but most of the time I don't mind it. I'd rather re-do it than have to constantly adjust thru the rest of the chart.

Scrummy baking!
Our little King Charles is going for her first haircut in a couple of weeks... we haven't had her trimmed before but this summer she is really suffering in the heat so we are hoping that the the trim will help her... going to miss all her little fluffy feathers though :o)
Your babies look adorable :o)
