This and That

Hi friends! 🍅🍓🐩 ❤️🤍💙This is what I have been up to lately.

Making lots of tomatoes and strawberries, each varying in material and style. These two are mine. All the others are going to be for my upcoming 1,000 followers giveaway on Instagram. I just have to reach that point. I am almost there. If you would like to follow me you can do so here: HERE

🐱Isn't he a handsome boy? I named him Francis. I spotted him a week ago across the street from our apartment, where we take Henry for potty. Kitty corner from our building is a vacant building, and this fella just popped up there. So we have been feeding him. He is the sweetest thing ever. He is young and I know he was someone's housepet. He comes running to you when you show up over there. He meows like crazy. He is starved for love. He rubs your ankles like mad. He and Henry stand right next to each other and sniff each other and don't do a thing to each other. Well after a week, and me knocking on doors asking if anyone is missing a cat, and no one is, I called two pet stores and the two closest vet clinics and no one has reported a missing cat. 🥺 So yesterday we took him to our humane society where they discovered he did not have a microchip. SO he now waits for 10 days to be vaccinated and neutered and adopted! 😁 And I know he WILL be adopted, because he is such a sweetheart. 😺

📚 This is a well researched historical novel about a not very well known shipwreck, the steamship Pulaski from Savannah, Georgia in 1838. The author uses a dual timeline with a history professor as the main character, who happens to be obsessed with the Pulaski. She searches and digs for information on the ship and it's passengers. She even dives with the dive crew once the actual Pulaski is discovered. And the real Pulaski was discovered while the author was writing this very book. She was in contact with the dive crew and obtained information for this book from them. I found it very interesting.

Sweet friends would you take time to pray for my dear Aunt Kathy?

She has found out she has colon cancer. She is to have four CT scans as soon as possible to make sure the cancer has not metastasized. Then on to surgery to remove the cancer. Thank you my friends.💗

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?  Mark 8:36

I hope and pray you have a wonderful week. Thank you for stopping by. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate you.💗

Stitching and praying,

Vickie

Good luck to your follower who wins.
What a sweet cat, it looks like when rubbing up against the item he/she is walking by it is saying something to you and your camera.
Nice book.

Of course, your Aunt will have my prayers! I have that book on my kindle. I love Savannah so I am looking forward to reading the book. I am following you now in Instagram. I am on it too but can't remember the long number after my name. I have made a very slow start!

Adding your Aunt Kathy to my prayer list, Vickie. Your strawberry and tomato are adorable. You did a wonderful thing trying to find out who the kitty belonged to. You are an angel.

1000 followers, that is impressive. I don't do Instagram myself, I stick with Blogger and Facebook for my groups.
The cat is gorgeous, I am sure someone will want him.
Hope your Aunt has some good news for her medical problems.
