Another Bunny!

Hi friends! How you all today? It is warming up here. I have increased the Cymbalta dosage for my back pain. I am not so very confident this is going to take away the pain from the herniated discs.😒I do see the doctor again in a few weeks and I do believe I will be telling him I want that steroid shot please!

I have stitching to share. 🐰This darling little rabbit is from Zweigart patterns No. 280, their Easter patterns.

I stitched her two over two on 32ct Belfast Baby Lotion linen with most of the called for DMC and Anchor flosses. I created a Wisper tail on her pull toy bunny.🐰

I am still stitching away on my monthly piece. Almost done!

📚 I could not put this one down! This is a fictional story based on the very real and very cruel experience of unmarried mothers in the 1950s in Ireland and England.
How is your town or city doing with COVID? Do you feel safe where you are? I feel fairly safe, because WE are very cautious. We only go out to necessary places still and when we do, we wear our masks everywhere still. No, we are still not eating IN restaurants or attending our church. We watch online. Not the same at all, but we also have not gotten COVID thus far.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

I am glad you stopped by. I hope you have a nice week my friends!

Stitching and praying,

Vickie

Vickie, you are still on my heart and in my prayers, that disc problem can be rough. I hope the increase in Cymbalta will help. I absolutely love the little Zweigart Bunny, she is adorable and brought a smile to my day. My husband and I have been going out all along, we eat out at restaurants and I do like the elbow room we have in restaurants. Restaurants in our area, are begging for help and we have seen a lot of help wanted signs out and about. I got my covid shots, but I won't get a booster(that is a long story). My husband refuses to get it. So far we have remained healthy. The mask restrictions are being lifted in our area too. It almost seems silly to wear a mask to go into a restaurant, but you have to take it off to eat. I have been watching local groups play softball. I saw a soccer game being played with a rather large croud yesterday. My grand-son starts T-ball this week. It is like the world is coming out of hybernation:) Have a blessed week my friend. Keep stitching!

I feel extremely safe here. And have from the start. Our lives are pretty much back to normal. Costco is really the only retailer that is strict about masks. Most other places have signs that say masks are suggested. Restaurants are at 100% unless they don't have enough staff. Churches are open. Our vaccination program has been fantastic. Statewide over 30% have been fully vaccinated and over 50% have had at least the first vaccine.

What a cute bunny! Have you read The Nature of Fragile Things? Disturbing but I could not put it down!

First of all, all the best for your back, it is not easy with intervertebral discs, you have to take a lot of care.
I like your new little pillow, the bunny is so cute.
I feel safe myself, we stick to the rules and stay at home, only I drive to work, my daughter is now free, she is writing her first final exam on Friday and has to test herself beforehand. Only my husband is on the road more because of his job.
Keep taking good care of yourself, Hugs Martina

Hi Vickie -- That is the cutest bunny ever! Wonderful finish. I haven't gotten Covid either and am fully vaccinated. I still wear my mask everywhere and have only recently eaten at a couple of restaurants that have very few people. Most times, we order carry out. This is the start of the my second week in the office after a year of working at home. Working at home is nice, but it's taken its toll on my physical health. Glad to hear you're doing well!

Your bunny pillow is adorable. We are fairly safe in our community. We have been dining in a few of the local restaurants since August or whenever they okayed dining in. Still wearing a mask because it is mandated. I am continuing to pray for relief from your pain. Thinking of you!

Good morning, Vickie. I'm sorry that you still have pain. Constant hurt reaches down to your soul. Sigh.

I've had both my doses of the vaccine but will continue to use a mask when out. I was hoping to travel next month but now my son says he's coming to see me!! I am looking forward to seeing him, but darn, I was really looking forward to the drive. LOL

It's funny, but I don't really want to eat out. It just seems so much easier (and cheaper!) to eat at home. LOL Maybe it will change once the weather is nicer. I do love to eat outside.

Have a fabulous day!

That bunny is adorable, your Easter is coming soon I believe?
I'm back at work, still wearing a mask and we have a till screen too. Only two of us are old enough to be vaccinated so we have to think of the young'uns! I won't be eating inside any time soon. I did have coffee and cake on the patio of my friend's cafe last week but that's only the second time in 12 months! I'd rather save my money to be honest.

The poodle with the curlers cracks me up so French looking.

Such a cute bunny, Vickie--and a very sweet finish. I'm sorry the disc pain is not getting much better. My mom had steroid shots every three months for the last ten years of her life for her collapsed vertebrae and hip pain. She could not have gotten along without them! I hope that option provides some relief for you.

Yes, I feel safe--am much more at ease about going into a store (with my mask on) now that I'm fully vaccinated. It's like a curtain is slowly lifting.
