Hi friends! I finally found time to return to stitching. Boy does that feel good. I have a small finish to share with you.
Ta da! It's Cally! 😻
This is a free chart called Itty Bitty Kitty from Wichelt.com. I have had this chart for a LONG TIME! This is from March 2014. If you want this chart, I still have the link to it. Search 'Cutie'(my Mom's cat.) in the white search bar in the upper left corner at the top of this blog page. Scroll down the page and you will find it. I changed this pattern A LOT to make it look like Cally.😊 I had to use EIGHT colors! It is such a dull, grey day here. Too bad you cannot see the pretty linen color. It is 25ct light rose lugana. This is the first Cally in the cubby shelf!😉
Our friend Mary sent me a "cheer you up" gift. How wonderful and thoughtful was that?! Thank you again Mary!!
I am now stitching another monthly pattern.
I want to thank you SO much for your love and kindness in my time of grief with the passing of my Stepdad. Your prayers and kind words and reaching out to me mean so much. TRULY. I mean that. I am feeling much better. I had this funk. This deep sorrow that I worried would never lift. I believe it is beginning to leave. Thank you for caring my friends. God bless you.💗
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Stitching and praying,
Vickie

I am so sorry for the loss of your Stepdad. Your finish is very pretty.
Oh she's got cute.
I am glad that you are feeling a little better again, but it will take time, there will always be memories that bring tears to your eyes, and that is good.
I always say - as long as we have the people we've lost in our hearts, they're not really gone, they're still there.
Have a good time, my friend, Martina
Yeah you're stitching, Cally is purr-fect 🐱
Hello Vickie,
the little cat is very cute and a wonderful finish as always.

Enjoy the weekend, Manuela

Keeping you in my thoughts.

I was thrilled to see your cross stitch of Caffe (this is such a cute name). It is adorable! And the poodle pattern from your friend was perfect. I'm glad you are feeling better. You and yours remain on my heart and in my prayers:)
I am back with a second comment and a chuckle:) When I read thru the other comments, I saw them call you cat Calle, when I went back and read your original blog, I had to laugh, I what I saw ff instead of ll. I stand corrected:) Have a blessed day my friend:)
What a beautiful Cally you created with needle and thread for your cubby, Vickie! You received a thoughtful pick me up package and I know you will enjoy it. Continuing to pray for you and your family.
"Cross stitch" Cally is precious!
So glad the prayers of many are having a healing effect on you. Continued prayers...
What a lovely gift! Hoping the pain of this difficult time will be easing for your family.
I love that you stitched a kitty already. She is definitely one of the family now.
So cute! Having a new furbaby helps lift the spirits, too.
What a cute little kitty. I am happy you are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It all takes time. I will still keep all of you in my prayers.
