Now let me show you the finish I have for the pedestal frame for April.
This is Sampling Easter by Lizzie Kate. I used DMC and WDW pecan and stitched it two over two on 30ct white linen. I think it is really sweet.
I have a pattern to give away courtesy of our friend Robin I was given this pattern by Robin to pass along to one of you.
All you need to do is: be a sidebar follower of mine on this blog. Leave a comment on this post telling me you would like this pattern. I will randomly draw a name on Monday, April 15th.
Have any of you read this book?😱 WOW! This book is not fiction folks! It's a story of a REAL PSYCHOPATH! I had bad dreams for a few days during this book, not gonna lie to you. The information about the World Fair is very interesting, but I will be honest here, it dragged a bit for me.
Erik Larson—author of #1 bestseller In the Garden of Beasts—intertwines the true tale of the 1893 World's Fair and the cunning serial killer who used the fair to lure his victims to their death. Combining meticulous research with nail-biting storytelling, Erik Larson has crafted a narrative with all the wonder of newly discovered history and the thrills of the best fiction.
I am still stitching that Easter piece. It is a bigger one, for me anyhow. I am getting there!
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:1-5
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a "Spectacular" week!
Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Is the doll with poodle skirt yours, Vickie? Did you create it? Your April cubby looks fabulous. Way to go on the Easter Sampling finish for the pedestal stand! Have a wonderful week!
Your cubby looks wonderful. That book rings a bell. I have not read it but have heard a lot about it. Does it take place in Seattle? or maybe the author lives here! Just not sure.
Your cubby shelf looks great. The piece for your pedestal looks wonderful in there.
The Lizzie Kate is so perfect for the little frame.
The cubby looks beautiful and filling up nicely.
Such a cute LK finish, Vickie--that pedestal frame will come in very handy for future finishes, too. My husband read that book, but not me--I have wavered back and forth on whether or not I would like it. Did you listen to it?
Vickie: The Scripture you chose for this post is beautiful.
I love the shelf, it is getting full.
the new finish is lovely, I really like how you finished it, in the pedestal frame.
That book looks very interesting.

Your cubby shelf look wonderful Vickie. And, I love your pedestal stitch. I really miss LKate. You did a great job putting it together. Hope it is warming by you. I would love to be in the drawing...Robin sent you an adorable pattern. RJ@stitchingfriendsforever
Love the cubby shelf... and the pedestal frame. So spring-y!!
Your April cubby is gorgeous! Love the Lizzie kate finish!
That little pedestal frame is coming in handy for so many stitches! How do you finish them to put in the frame, just a quick lacing over something more stiff? Or do you get all fancy and make a padded ornament type of finish?
April's cubby looks great, and your LK is perfect in the pedestal frame.
Oooh, a psychpath book! I just put a hold on it for audio so we'll see how long it takes.
Love your pedestal! Congrats on a cute finish.
Your cubby looks lovely, filling up nicely.
I stitched the Sampling Easter a couple of years back now. It's a sweet design.
