Hi friends! I have a little finish to share with you. Here is April-Spring Hare from Rainbow Gallery, the 2005 Cross Stitcher's Surprise Series.
I chose my own DMC colors and once again omitted the charm since my finish is so little. I stitched this one over one on 25ct cream evenweave. It's ready for the April cubby shelf display. This is my favorite so far in the series! I just think it is ADORABLE!
The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton was a very good mystery. I was pleasantly surprised at the end. I love that!
During a picnic at her family’s farm in the English countryside, sixteen-year-old Laurel Nicolson witnesses a shocking crime, a crime that challenges everything she knows about her adored mother, Dorothy. Now, fifty years later, Laurel and her sisters are meeting at the farm to celebrate Dorothy’s ninetieth birthday. Realizing that this is her last chance to discover the truth about that long-ago day, Laurel searches for answers that can only be found in Dorothy’s past. Clue by clue, she traces a secret history of three strangers from vastly different worlds thrown together in war-torn London—Dorothy, Vivien, and Jimmy—whose lives are forever after entwined. A gripping story of deception and passion, The Secret Keeper will keep you enthralled to the last page.
I hope you have a great week my friends! I will share more Spring stitching next time.
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Stitching and praying,

What a great stitch for your cubby! Well done.
Vickie, your bunny stitch is adorable. You picked lovely colors for this block and I can see why it is a favorite. Who doesn't like a sweet bunny?!?!?! Enjoy your day and week!

Sweet little bunny.
I've not read The Secret Keeper, but I do have a copy on my bookshelf of it.
Sounds like a good book, thank you! You have the perfect word for your finish, adorable!!
Your April Hare is precious!!
Such a cute finish! I love Kate Morton's books. I haven't been able to get through her latest yet though. I'll have to try again.
That bunny is just adorable!! I have trouble with Kate Morton books, I don't know why I just can't get into them.
The little bunny looks cute, and you've chosen great colors.
Vickie - I've already read the book, and it fascinated me. Were not you surprised by the end of the story? Me, yes. I have read a second book - the hidden gardens (as it says in German) and I heard the lake house as an audiobook. I love the books from Kate Morton.
Have a nice week, Hugs, Martina
Such a cute bunny, he certainly is adorable! And there's more like it?!
Such a cutie! You are doing great at keeping up with this series, Vickie.
Sounds like a good book--you may also enjoy The Lake House by the same author if you haven't read it :)
I love the Spring Hare - so cute, I’ve tried to see these patterns on line at Rainbow Gallery in color just to get a hint as to what colors to use but I’ve had no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks so much.
Another cute finish for the cubby!
Such a cute rabbit! I love how it looks like he's peeking over the edge. And the eyes look like little chocolate chips, or maybe I'm just craving Easter candy a bit early :D
Your bunny IS ADORABLE!
I love your sweet bunny. He is adorable and I can see why you love him. RJ
