Merry Christmas to my fellow Orthodox friends!
Here are my orts from 2015. They are sitting atop our non-moving(rather cold here)snow. About 7 inches of it. Those two blades of grass are what the snowblower threw there. I will put these orts out in the Spring for the birds to use in their nest building.
I am still working on my neck and upper back. I am hoping and praying the pain goes away through physical therapy and I won't even need further treatment from an orthopedic doctor. For the first time since I saw the hand and upper extremity orthopedic surgeon months ago, with the exam that brought on this awful neck pain, I felt less pain yesterday and today!! That is progress finally! Merry Christmas indeed!
Reading and praying,
Vickie

Hope the pain continues to subside....
Oooh I have never thought of collecting my threads all together for the whole year..... I bet my pile of threads would be much larger as I just cut threads willy nilly... But saying that I do rumage sometimes through my thread cuttings if I just need a colour for one or two stitches. I may keep all my cuttings together now as I am quite curious to see how many I can collect all year! I love all the colours in your 'cold' jar :)
Hope your feeling a little better....sending you happy smiley thoughts :)
Smiles :)
Super jar full of ORTS
your snow is nice to look at, we have horrid rain and windy weather today, not nice at all.
Lots of orts!
So glad that you have a little relief!

Oh my Vickie. I didn't realize that you were having so much pain. Will be keeping you in prayer for sure. Your orts are fantastic! What a year you must have had with your stitching. Good job indeed! I pray that this year you'll have much less and actually no pain at all.
Hugs and prayers to you. LindaLee

What a great way to celebrate....with less pain! I hope and pray that you will be pain free soon. I love your ort jar and all the threads will help to make cozy homes for some lucky birds. I love to watch the birds in our yard....the sparrows are so funny and the doves are so quiet and shy, and the hummingbirds just fly around them all going back and forth to their feeder. I hope you have a good day today my friend.
That is some good news Vickie.I hope you keep on improving.
I'm always glad when I can read here that you feel slightly better. I just hope that the improvement goes on.
So glad you are feeling a little better
Vickie: Good news to be sure, I hope all your pain goes away.

Great orts - they really look very nice all together like that.
Good news on the pain! I am praying that it is even less now. So sorry this has happened -- the last thing you need. I do hope you can avoid the second orthopedist appointment. Happy belated Orthodox Christmas!
Merry Christmas, Vickie. And that is wonderful news about your pain level!!! Prayers that it continues to get better.
That's a lot of orts! I haven't cleaned mine out yet.
Brrrrr, shivering at the sight of the snow. Love the snow poodle though.
I'll empty my ORTs in time for this weekend's TUSAL post.
The Christ is born indeed ! Blessed be The Kingdom of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit!
Thank you for visiting my little blog! The Cold temperatures are always good for my back pain ..even though it is nice and warm inside :) So nice to know you have had even a little bit less pain.
Merry Christmas, Vickie! What a nice gift to have you pain a bit less--hope it continues to diminish throughout this new year!

Merry Christmas to you Vickie! Hope this year is a one with far less pain.
Doesn't that Ort pic just give a calming effect? Feel a lot better soon. Take care.
Happy Christmas Vickie! That'a a very nice idea of using your orts. Hope you will be better soon.
Merry Christmas Vickie! What a lovely gift for the birds - you are so thoughtful. love Annette
Wow! What a testament to all your stitching! I'm going to do the same with my little threads - give them to the birds for nest building. I do that with my yarn ends, too. They love them and it's so fun to see them peeping out of the nests when I happen to find one in the trees.
Many blessings - Julie
