Ornament Stitching

Hi Friends! The very end of the month! I have had a rough month with pain. Do you recall the disc replacement I had back in 2018? Well we have pretty significant degenerative disc disease in our family. Also remember the car crash I told you about that Brian and I were in when we were teenagers? The drunk driver hit us head on? Well, the pain is not coming FROM my shoulder. The disc in my neck has collapsed or fused. I do believe this is where all of my nerve pain is stemming from. I am having an MRI of my neck on Thursday. Hopefully the doctors will be able to help me then get pain relief where it is coming from. I have a humdinger of a migraine as I type this too, but I told myself I would get at least one post done before the month was over, so here I am!

❄️Cutie❄️from Owl Forest Embroidery. I gave it that name, ha! I cannot read Russian, and I printed this free chart out off of their website two years ago. I am calling it Cutie, because this cat looks just like my Mom's cat named Cutie, and I made this for my Mom for Christmas this year. I am sorry. I went to Owl Forest's website and this chart is no longer available. I stitched it and finished it all with stash.

🧵I stitched this two over two on 32ct light blue evenweave with the called for DMC, except the eyes. I changed Cutie's eyes to match the real Cutie's eyes.🐱

This has been stitched and done for months! I have a pile waiting to be finished into things! 😐Yeah. Well. I truly prefer stitching to finishing.

❄️😻❄️😻❄️😻❄️😻❄️😻❄️

This is Emerson's Christmas ornament. I have had this one done for months as well! I honestly do not know what this is called. Woodpecker I imagine. It is by Max Pigeon and it is from his book Cross-Stitch In The Forest. I highly recommend the book! I have stitched two projects from it and I doubt this will be my last one either!
🧵I stitched this two over two on 32ct Waterlily green linen with the called for DMC.

🖤🤍❤️🖤🤍❤️🖤🤍❤️

I am stitching autumn pieces now. I will soon stop and finish a few more pieces again. I have to get this pile worked on!

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.  Philippians 1:2

I hope to drop in sooner than later. Sorry for not being around at all. Being in pain is difficult and wearing. It does not make you want to go online. I just read or listen to books and stitch.

I hope and pray you are well my friends. Take care and thank you for stopping by.

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Hi Vickie: I am saddened to hear you are in such pain, prayers for your healing and good results for what ever the doctor decides to do for you.
Both designs are so adorable, Cutie is a perfect name for the ornament, love the woodpecker, so sweet.

I hope you got some answers from your MRI, Vickie... Chronic pain is so wearing on a person. I'm glad you're still able to stitch--love both of the ornaments so much and I know your Mom and Emerson will love them, too. Do take care now... Sending a warm hug! ♥
