Pumpkin Spice Farm

Hi friends! The October weather is lovely here in southeast Wisconsin so far. The leaves have just begun turning colors.

Let me show you my October displays. Here is my🧡October Cubby Shelf Display 🧡Almost every one of these are stitched over one.

🧡🍂🧡🍂🧡🍂🧡🍂🧡🍂🧡

🦔🍄October Corner Shelf🍄🦔

I continue to stitch the mini BBD stockings. 🦃Mr. Turkey🦃from Thankful November by Blackbird Designs.
I stitched this one over two on 36 count cream linen with the called for DMC and the CC Clay Pot. I lined the stocking with the same fabric as the back.
🦃🍂🦃🍂🦃🍂🦃🍂🦃🍂🦃
🤍I sewed a linen heart and covered it with Mother of Pearl buttons from my button collection.
🤍✖️🤍✖️🤍✖️🤍✖️🤍
And last, but not least, a very simple small, useful gift made with love, given to Brian on our 31st wedding anniversary this week. 💞
I sewed this with fabric from my stash. Madeleine and I drew up a "Flossie". She is stitched two over two on 32ct mystery green linen with DMC for the nose, eye and ball and GA Apple Cider and WDW Pecan tweeded to make Flossie's haircoat color. 😉 The cross is stitched with DMC silver metallic floss on 28ct evenweave.

I am now actually stitching a Brenda Gervais Valentine pattern. I am borrowing the pattern from my sweet friend Lisa in New York, and I want to get it back to her.
I am having a giveaway for this unused, new pattern, Pumpkin Spice Farm from Hands On Design. You need to be a sidebar follower of this blog, leave a comment on this post stating you would like this pattern, leave your email address and I will draw the name of the winner on Friday, October 13th.

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”  Romans 10:17

I hope you have a great day my friends! Thanks for stopping by and leaving such nice comments for me.

Stitching and praying,

Vickie

It's still summery here too, a little cool in the morning, but you can still sit outside in the afternoon.
I love your fall decorations.
And the mini stockings are really cute.
You really did a great job with the gift for Brian. Congratulations belatedly on your wedding anniversary.
I would really like to win the pattern, as it has been on my wish list for a long time.
Have a nice week,
Hugs, Martina
