Jenny

Hi friends! Our friend Georgia sent me a birthday card. She was not sure when my birthday was, but she knew it was in June. Thank you so much Georgia for remembering me!🥰
Our friend Manuela mailed me a birthday gift last month!😮 It finally came! LOOK AT THIS!
Oh me oh my! I will be stitching these gorgeous floral monthly wreaths next year! I am addicted to monthly charts and Manuela remembered. Thank you once again dear friend!

Our friend Angela sent me these lovely fabrics. I wonder why?! Aren't they great?! Thank you once again Angela. I know I will be using them in my finishing.

One of my very favorite authors is Rhys Bowen. I have not read one of her books and been disappointed. And I have read every single one of her fiction books available!😊 I decided I needed a good series to read for the treadmill. I remembered I never read the Constable Evans Mysteries by Rhys Bowen. They are over twenty years old, but they are a good cozy mystery series. Great enjoyable reading for me on the treadmill while I "burn the butter"! I have greatly increased my treadmill time for the last two weeks. I go on my usual thirty minutes twice daily. I now try to go on 10 minutes after every meal also. I do not always get to, but mostly I do. I am hoping this makes a difference in losing weight. It must right?!
THE FIRST CONSTABLE EVANS MYSTERY! Constable Evan Evans expected the idyllic Welsh village of Llanfair to be a calm oasis far away from the violent crime of the big city—until a string of murders puts every charming eccentric under suspicion... Little Llanfair has its share of characters—two ministers vying for the souls of their flock, one lascivious barmaid, and three other Evanses: Evans-the-Meat, Evans-the-Milk, and Evans-the-Post. But before Evan—now knows as Evans-the-Law—can enjoy Llanfair's tranquillity, he's called to the scene of a crime as brutal as any in the big city. Two hikers have been murdered on the trails of the local mountain, and now Evan must hunt down a vicious killer in a town where one of his lovable new neighbors could prove to be deadly...
I am now stitching the little monthly pillow for July.

🎗️Dear friends, will you join with me in daily prayer for our sweet Jenny? Her breast cancer has returned. She has to begin treatment once again. Let's storm Heaven with prayer for her, shall we? "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

June

Hi friends! I have to get you up to date on my latest finishes! First I will show you my June cubby shelf display.
And here is the 🐞June freebie by romyfrees.blogspot.com🐞
Since these are originally in Italian, and I make mine in English, there was space this month. I added the inchworm at the bottom.💚 June is my birthday month, and it always reminds me of being out in the backyard as a little girl. Climbing the apple tree, eating apples and looking for inchworms. I stitched this two over two on 28ct white Jubilee using DMC and WDW. The fabric shown is the backing material.

🧳🗽June Zooms by Bent Creek🗽🧳
I stitched this two over two with DMC on 32ct lambswool linen. I totally changed the colors on that suitcase. I liked it as it is on the pattern, if you can see it, but my suitcase, would never be green and brown! How about pink and brown! 💗🤎 I have never been to London or Rome, but I would love to! We have been to New York several years ago, and we loved it!

I am now stitching the engagement gift I would like to give to Jacob and Kristen.🥰 Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments and well wishes for them. These next four months will fly by I think!! Their October wedding will be here so soon!

💍

Hi friends! This news could not wait! 😁 Our oldest son Jacob and his girlfriend Kristen called after dinner yesterday. When I picked up the phone, they both broke into 🎵the Happy Birthday song for me!🎵 So sweet.  As we talked, Jacob asked me if I heard that music in the background. I said yes. He said, "Do you know what that is?"  I said, "No". He said, "Listen." I said,"Going to the CHAPEL!!!!!! WAIT!!! Oh my gosh! That means you proposed Jacob?!"   And so he did. 😁 They want to get married in October. A very small outside wedding(COVID) at the home of her parents by a pastor.

Brian and I could not be happier. Kristen is a lovely girl. My entire family loves her. My Stepdad met her at the hospital before he died in January.

We have yet to see "the ring".💍 Blasted COVID! We will!

Plans, plans, plans! Weight I want to lose! Yikes!😬 I gained some after the seven months of not being able to use the treadmill daily. It really wrecked things.☹️ And I am not good at starvation diets. I am far from "fat", but I do have a tummy now and I don't want it!!! I know, I know.

Off to pick floss and linen for an engagement piece I want to make them.

🎂🎂🎂

Hi friends!
I am working on a Cally doll❣️ Slow but sure. It is going to be a while until she is done. I am also cross stitching projects at the same time. Aren't these great books I checked out from our library?

This is a beautiful story about love, friendship and God. The four characters are so unique.
Charles and Lily, James and Nan. They meet in Greenwich Village in 1963 when Charles and James are jointly hired to steward the historic Third Presbyterian Church through turbulent times. Their personal differences however, threaten to tear them apart. We follow these two couples through decades of love and friendship, jealousy and understanding, forgiveness and commitment. I really enjoyed this book.

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple  Psalm 19:7

Would you please take a minute to pray for our dear friend Marly's sister Carole? She was taken to the hospital as an emergency. She has a 60% blockage in the carotid at the base of the brain. She has been sent home! No surgery! Thank you friends.

We will head to my Mom's house this weekend. We will have a birthday party outside and try to remain apart/socially distant. I turn 51 tomorrow. We will go to Mom's on Sunday though. It is not going to be as hot on Sunday, and I cannot tolerate the heat. I get terrible migraine headaches from the sun, and since we will not be going in the house....  sigh. This whole virus thing, it is really throwing a cramp in our style. We are trying to keep everyone safe. My Mom has health issues, so does my Aunt, who will be moving in and living with them shortly. So we will all eat our chocolate cake🎂 outside and sing Happy Birthday and NOT hug and kiss.😕 SOME DAY!
Thank you dear Robin and dear Carol for your birthday cards and also the pink silk floss Carol. God bless you for remembering me and making me feel special.🎈
