This is a free pattern made available by Diana and Michelle on Instagram. If you also would like this pattern to stitch you can find it HERE
If you have never seen Mr. Rogers, here is a very short video of him singing the exact song that I stitched.
I am now stitching furiously away on an Ink Circles pattern for Emerson's birthday present.
Oh this book! Did you read Kitchen House the first book? Glory Over Everything is the sequel to Kitchen House and this is just as excellent a read! I highly recommend both books!
The latest New York Times bestseller from the author of the beloved book club favorite The Kitchen House is a heart racing story about a man’s treacherous journey through the twists and turns of the Underground Railroad on a mission to save the boy he swore to protect. Glory Over Everything is “gripping…breathless until the end” (Kirkus Reviews). The year is 1830 and Jamie Pyke, a celebrated silversmith and notorious ladies’ man, is keeping a deadly secret. Passing as a wealthy white aristocrat in Philadelphian society, Jamie is now living a life he could never have imagined years before when he was a runaway slave, son of a southern black slave and her master. But Jamie’s carefully constructed world is threatened when he discovers that his married socialite lover, Caroline, is pregnant and his beloved servant Pan, to whose father Jamie owes his own freedom, has been captured and sold into slavery in the South. Fleeing the consequences of his deceptions, Jamie embarks on a trip to a North Carolina plantation to save Pan from the life he himself barely escaped as a boy. With the help of a fearless slave, Sukey, who has taken the terrified young boy under her wing, Jamie navigates their way, racing against time and their ruthless pursuers through the Virginia backwoods, the Underground Railroad, and the treacherous Great Dismal Swamp.

Those are sweet little finishes. I used to love watching Mr. Rogers with my son. Have you seen the movie that was out last year? It's so good!
Vickie I am so sorry to read about your childhood trauma.

Complimenti per i tuoi cuscini... anch'io conosco il sig. Roger
Loved Mr Rogers. Have you read his book?
I too loved Mr. Rogers. He was such a gentle, wise being. I'd better re-read the Kitchen House so I can read the sequel!
Dear Mr. Rodgers was truly an inspiration for so many children. His calm and nurturing way was such a blessing. I will have to read the second book, I read The Kitchen House and liked it very much.
Beautiful stitching! Thank you for sharing :) Happy Stitching!
I'm saddened to hear you didn't have the best childhood. I'm glad Mr. Rogers helped, can you believe I never saw that show? I love the saying though...
I love the three little pillows, but when did you get three adult children?! How time has flown :-)
I had never heard of Mr Rogers until I started reading blogs. For some reason I thought he was connected to Mr Ed the talking horse! Shows how much I know about American kids TV. We were raised on The Muppet Show though. Was he ever a guest on there, I wonder?
Vickie I'm happy to hear Mr. Rogers brought some peace to your life when you needed it. I'm sorry to hear times were hard back then. RJ
They look great, I hope they will treasure them.
I remember growing up watching him, that and The New Zoo Review! I'm glad he was there for you when you needed it.
This is so cute. Just love it.
Hello, Vickie! Are you on Instagram? I would love to follow you there. Find me please @javadiva. Hope to see you there. I too LOVED the Kitchen House. And Mr Rogers.
