Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Zucchini and Summer Squash

Hi friends! I am still stitching away on the Joyful World SAL September pattern. I am also still waiting to hear from insurance that I can go ahead and have 31 Botox injections in my head for these headaches! o_0

I thought I would share a few awesome recipes with you. These are all new ones I found this summer. We had an abundance of zucchini and yellow squash this summer. Our supply is winding down. These recipes revolve around those two lovely vegetables. I have made them all more than once and the family approves of them all. :) Just click on the names and the recipes will appear.

Zucchini Parmesan Crisps

Death By Chocolate Zucchini Bread Everyone in my family calls this CAKE, NOT BREAD. YEP! I found this recipe first posted by Marly. Thank you Marly!!!

Zucchini Bran Muffins

Summer Squash & White Bean Soup   I have many servings of this frozen in our freezer for future meals!

I will share a finish next with you next time.

Thank you for stopping in today. I hope you have an excellent weekend my friends!

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Thanks for the links to the recipes. I love zucchini and can't have enough recipes for them. Unfortunately my husband doesn't love them very much but he eats them :)

Good morning, Vickie. Chocolate? Did you say chocolate? I like chocolate. And I like zucchini. Win win. LOL I may try the bean and squash soup, that sounds really good.

Thirty one? Hmmmm...praying for your relief. It is way past time. Have a good day, sweetie.

31? Wow. Where does that number come from? Is Botox really expensive? That usually determines the insurance take on it unfortunately.

That poodle photo is hilarious.

Enjoy your zucchini creations and have a great holiday weekend.

Why do insurance companies make us wait so long?! Hope they send an approval soon....

Zucchini makes a great mock apple pie! http://www.afamilyfeast.com/mock-apple-crumb-pie-made-with-zucchini/

Best of luck with your insurance company - hope something lights a fire under them for you.

Checking out a couple of your recipes! Printed one already! My NC daughter, and her oldest and youngest daughters ALL get (or will be getting--youngest is waiting approval now)those Botox injections for the migraines. They seem to last a little longer than any other medicines. Hope you get approved! Hugs!

Zucchini cake and bread are always welcome here! Our plant did not do so well this year (very wet) but that death by chocolate looks right up my husband's alley.

G'luck with the insurance company!

Surely not 31 injections all at once?! Praying the insurance company gives a quick approval!

I think I've heard about Botox helping migraines. I hope you get some relief really soon.

The recipes look wonderful! The soup is one I definitely want to try. Do the crisps really get crispy? I've always doubted that because there is so much water in zucchini.
