Woo Hoo! I Am A Gardener Again

Hi friends! How are ya? I am doing well with my physical therapy sessions twice weekly. Still doing my home exercise program.  I am able to work in the garden again!! :) One hosta bed that was neglected is all fixed up and pretty. The chocolate garden now needs lots of help. I am beginning.

I sent another bookmark as a thank you gift to our friend Charlene for the pretty, pink quilt fabrics she sent me. I forgot to get a picture of both sides of the bookmark. The other side, not shown, is the side with her initial.
I also sent her some unwanted aida fabric I had.  Please CLICK HERE to see what she does with people's leftovers. She has an awesome mission. Maybe you have unwanted materials you want to send to her?

Can you spot the bee?
I have a large cluster of these beauties. They all popped up from seeds I spread here last fall.
Native columbine. Which happen to be PINK and yellow.
I love these purpley blue columbine so very much. I have grown these same flowers at 3 different homes now. I gave a handful of friends seeds for these last year? Was it you? Did you plant them?
Huckleberry Fudge Bearded Iris
I hope you are doing well my friends. If not, and you would like me to pray for you, let me know. I am glad to. Thank you for stopping by. Have a super weekend!

EDIT: Our friend Jacquie needs prayer. Would you please pray for her. She is in the hospital again. Thank you!

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Great that you can work in your garden. And how beautiful all these flowers are looking. We also have columbines in our garden right now, in many different colours. The purple ones we have are terrific as the colour is a dark, rich purple and the inside is like shining in gold. Wonderful to look at.

Wish I had a well-placed yard so I could do more gardening... Lots of shade all around my house from neighbors' trees, so not much success in gardening. But your garden pictures are fantastic! What are the purple ones that the bee is on? They sure are cute! And the columbine are so pretty! Have fun! Hugs!

Hello Vickie,

Such good news about the garden projects! I am so happy you can do more and feel a little better!!!
The flowers are lovely. I just planted some yellow bearded irises and can't wait to see the flowers. It's still far too chilly here in Holland. Today is like an autumn day (rainy, windy, gray, chilly). Everybody is waiting for the summer feel or even a warmer spring feel ... We keep hoping ...
The bookmark is great, you made quite a lot by now!

Have a nice weekend & enjoy your garden :)
Bye, Carolien

P.S. I could use a little prayer and will be sending mine up too for you ...

Thank You for your prayers the last week has been better with my DD but she and her boy friend still needs lots of pryers for them to find back to Kingdom of God. Jeus seeks and loves them -that is sure ! Allways remembering You in my prayers .
