Calendar Poodle SAL

Monday, December 28, 2015

Hi friends! I have been good for one week without stitching. I very much want to stitch, but I very much want to be out of pain in my shoulders and neck. I continue on with home exercises and stretches and pt twice a week.

This is the ornament I made our friend Michelle for Christmas.

I stitched this two over two on 32ct lambswool linen. The little bird pattern is a freebie you can find HERE.

The five of us are off shopping today. We are using our gift cards, and hoping to score great deals.

It is snowing! We finally got our first true snow storm this season.

Reading and baking and praying,
Vickie

  7. Good afternoon, Vickie. Shopping? In the snow? I'm not sure. Hmmm...I went out twice this weekend just to buy some of my favorite yarn that was on sale. It was in the low 30's if that counts. LOL

I'm glad that you're following the doctor's orders. You can do it!!

  12. A lovely little gift for Michelle.
One week without stitching - hard for you but your doctor will be very glad to hear it. And you will certainly feel it in your neck and shoulder when the pain lessens.

  22. You're being so careful, Vickie--I sure hope it helps. I've been having neck pain/stiffness issues the past few days and I have absolutely no idea of why this is happening. Ugh!!

Your little ornament is so sweet--I do love that little bird, too.

Love your Wookie Cookies from your last post! We saw Star Wars last night and, interestingly, I liked it more than the guys! My youngest was so disappointed and said it was just a rehash of the original one! I gave it an 8 :)
