🍀Stitching Green

Hi friends! I have my last St. Patrick's Day stitching to share with you.💚

This is 🍀March Rick Rac Row by Pine Mountain Designs🍀.

This was stitched one over two on 36 count white linen with DMC and VMSS. This is the original pattern.

You can see how much I have changed it. I like it A LOT more GREEN 💚 and I added the 🌈 and I love it❣️

🍀Freebie Pattern from chezelisa.over-blog.com🍀

I left off the wording, and decided to mount it on an old wooden spool. Stitched two over two on 32 ct with DMC. ☘️

📚My treadmill read. Highly recommend. Send For Me is a historical fiction novel that takes place in Nazi Germany and in present day Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Hometown!😁) This is a story of a Jewish family's intergenerational love and loss. A lovely look at close mother/daughter relationships. The book is based on the letters the author found from her own great-grandmother to her grandmother. Actually the letters in the book, are the letters from HER great-grandmother. I was left heartbroken, not going to lie. I still think about these characters all the more, knowing this book was based on truth!!

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds.” James 1:2

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful new week!

Stitching and praying,

Vickie

  17. Oh yes, I love you way you changed it and added all that lovely green!
The spool pin cushion is adorable, the finish turned out wonderful.
Thank you for all your book suggestions, one of these days I'll have to start reading again instead of listening to them, even that takes long enough!
