πŸ€πŸ€πŸ€

Hi friends! Here are my first two St. Patrick's Day finishes this year.
πŸ€Kiss Me by Nancy BandzuchπŸ€

This is a sweet freebie you can find on Catholicsprouts.com. I stitched mine two over two on some golden mystery 30 count linen with VMSS Green Valley and Spring Meadow.πŸ’šπŸ’š IS THIS THE PERFECT FINISHING FABRIC FOR ME OR WHAT?!?!πŸ©πŸ’šπŸ€

☘️πŸ€Holiday Hoopla-St. Patrick's Day by Brenda GervaisπŸ€☘️

As you can see, I changed mine up a bit! I used DMC and VMSS and added a HUGE lime green gingham bow and a lucky copper four leaf clover charm and I love it this way!πŸ’šπŸ€ I have most of the Holiday Hoopla patterns and plan to display them the same way. Hanging from the lovely 152 year old glass door knob that is just feet from my stitching spot. These lovely old doors are one of the first things I noticed in this apartment.πŸ₯°
I am on a St. Patrick's Day roll! That seems to be the theme for now.

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Matthew 7:1-2

Our friend Clare has asked for our help. Clare takes part in her family's church Tree Festival every Christmas where there are 60 real trees all decorated in various themes. Her tree is always full of stitched ornaments. This year she would like to do a floral tree - A Bouquet of Flowers. Would you like to join me in stitching a flower for Clare's tree? She asks that you send just the stitched piece, not finished. She will make up the ornament. If you also would like to take part in this, then CLICK HERE

I hope you have a wonderful weekend with lots of time for stitching.

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

  1. Dear Vickie, i'm so glad about your visits, thanks so much. I left you a little info about how to act about corona virus. Now i want to tell you that yesterday night i came to visit your lovely blog (while i was talking with my mother from Costa Rica at cell) and i was saying her how much beautiful things you do. My mother lost her poodle Sissy last year, she is now in peace but was so hard for her. So, i love the St Patricks' day cross stitch finished, is so lovely. Thanks again & please pray for this crazy world. Amen.

  7. Vickie, Who would have thought that you could find green fabric with poodles and a dog holding a shamrock no less?? It pairs perfectly with the Kiss me stitch! I love the Holiday Hoopla...it's hard to find pretty St. Patrick Day patterns.

  10. Hi Vickie, I think whoever designed that fabric had you in mind. It is perfect. And, both of your St Patrick's day ornaments are adorable! I love how you finished them:) I think I will check out the Christmas flower ornament. At the moment nothing comes to mind, other than poinsettias. I have to make a journey thru my stash. My folks would love a tree with all flowers:) Thank you so much for sharing, have a blessed day and week...spring is just around the corner:)

  13. Wonderful Saint Patrick's Day designs! I really don't decorate for it so I am sticking to my Lenten project, A Savior's Praise. It just might take me a lifetime to finish this one.

  18. Two lovely Ornaments. The backing fabric is perfect and I really like the way you adapted the sheep design to fit round the over sized bow.

The doorknob is beautiful too! How nice to live in a home with attractive original features like that.
