🍀Murphy The VERY Lucky Dog🍀

Hi friends! Here is the latest poodle display board.
Here is the cubby shelf set up for March.
I still have the February wreath in there. I am stitching the March wreath right now. I ran out of white 25 count linen!! I thought I had more. I ordered some and was stitching BBD Pumpkin Farm while I waited for the linen to arrive.

Did you notice the March Calendar Poodle? He is in the cubby shelf. It is Murphy this time. Here is a closer look.
Here is the pattern for you.
Backstitch the stem with two strands of 905

Murphy is one VERY LUCKY dog.🍀 He is actually, isn't he? We found him at our local animal shelter. His elderly owner went to a nursing home. Murphy was 12 when we adopted him. He is 14 1/2 years old now. He is blind in one eye now. (I thought about stitching his eyes blue, but no, I made them dark brown.) He is most definitely MY dog. He is very attached to me. I have a saying about Murph. If he is not happy, he is snappy.😟He is not a mean dog, he is just, let's say, irritable. So, yes, he is lucky to have us, who love poodles and put up with this grumpy old guy. It doesn't hurt that he sleeps a LOT!!! ha!

    Oh yes, Murphy definitely is a lucky dog finding a loving family like yours at his age. So March is the perfect month for him :)))

    Oh you see how in love you are in Poodle, the board looks great, and your March Poodle is adorable too.
    I think it's great that you have taken a dog at the age of 12, so he can have a really nice "pension life"

    What a wonderful March poodle, Vickie. I’m so glad God blesssed you with Murphy and Murphy with you. Our German Shepherd was also a rescue. My husband had wanted a GSD for a long time and couldn’t be happier with Heidi in his life. As for Heidi, my husband is very much her therapy human. Judy

    Murphy is very blessed to have you! That's the route we will go when and IF we ever decide to get a dog. Although I'm quite happy with my kitties!
