This is February from a Year of Celebrations by Cathy Habermann/Hands On Design. This pattern can be found in the March 2014 issue of Cross Stitch & Needlework magazine. Our library carries this magazine. :)
This was stitched one over one on 25ct New Khaki Lugana using DMC and one silk gifted to me by Peggy.
I am having another giveaway, open to all. You just need to be a follower of mine and leave me a comment stating you would like to be entered in the giveaway. Here is what I am offering you.
Finger Fun I by the Sweetheart Tree. I realized I am not going to stitch this pretty pattern up. The most adorable, tiny buttons are attached and included. I actually purchased this pattern because it is pretty AND those buttons are so cute!! I will announce the winner on Monday February 8th.
I'm off to see
Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Ah now I understand! What a lovely idea to put them on the cubby shelf,
ReplyDeleteI have one, but the squares are smaller than yours, so I put on there just miniatures. ( I love the poodle comics ^_^)
My best wishes for your doctor visit. I would love to be included in that giveaway. What a pretty pattern. Your February stitches are really pretty. You have been stitching quite quickly. Love those cubbyholes.

Good morning, Vickie...you will be in my thoughts today. I so hope that the doctor can give you an answer. Be brave, sweetie.
ReplyDeleteAs for your stitching. I am so jealous!! LOL I have nothing for February! LOL I've been going round and round and round on my afghan, so no stitching for me. But, I've only got two more sides of red, and it can go in the mail. Yay!
I like the way you are displaying your stitches in the box! I hope all goes well at the doctor!

ReplyDeleteI love your cubby! It looks so sweet. Lovely finish!
ReplyDeleteI bought a similar shelf/cabinet to this a few weeks ago from the Cross Stitch Guild and I've made a complete mess of it.
ReplyDeleteIt's a similar colour to yours and I stupidly decided to paint it with chalky furniture paint - well it's now a mess and I'm not sure how to rescue it.
I think I may have to strip back the paint and then use wood bleach. Yours looks delightful.
