A Sweet Spring Finish

Hi friends! Welcome new friends! I finished Spring String by Lizzie Kate.
Isn't this cute? This chart was gifted to me by our friend Tricia. I stitched this on Belfast Baby Lotion 32ct linen, two over two. I used most of the required DMC. I changed the purple and the green shades. They looked nothing like the picture. I used one WDW, pecan.
I still have Autumn String all stitched up and waiting for final finishing also now. I have ideas for these two. I will get to work on finishing soon.

I do have a question for you all. What is this pink thing between Q and r? Anyone?! It is driving me bonkers!
I promised to show you my pink stitching on the chocolate linen. So here is the latest Quaker motif I completed.

I pick this up every so often and add more. I have been planning this for over two years now. Working on it for almost 2 years now. You know how you always have to stitch this or that first, and then you never seem to get to what is for YOU? Well this is for me. I am determined it will be complete this year. Not ready to show all yet.

I am now stitching up a Margaret Sherry for a gift. It is small, but you know all the backstitching involved with the MS patterns.

We are enjoying a few days with temperatures above freezing. How nice just that is. We will take it! It is not enough to make the snow go away. That is going to be around for a long time yet.

The crows are brave enough for the trampoline now sometimes. And sometimes I am quick enough with the camera.;)

    Beautiful! I figured the pink thing was just a "quaker motif" of some sort... something to hold the place so everything fit, or just because she wanted some more color in it. : ) Can't wait to see your finishes. I haven't finished mine yet!! : )

    And now your stitching on chocolate linen!! Mmmm! Ha ha your pink Quaker design is very lovely too... You have been busy!
    Oh!! Wow your crows look rather large... Brave to be on the trampoline you say... Do you think when your not looking they have a little bounce? Ha ha

    I'm always so inspired by your beautiful work!! I personally think the pink thing represents a quilt, since it's right after "Q". It looks like a patchwork quilt to me. Loving your chocolate piece! Oh my goodness - your eyes must be so good! It's just gorgeous! Praying you're feeling good. We are having rain & snow so my pain levels are way up. Hoping for sunshine again, soon!!

    Ohhhh, pink on chocolate brown, what a great colour combo. Such a nice project that you are stitching for yourself. And you have a wonderful finish there. I have no idea what the pink thing is, maybe just a kind of border between the letters?
    Wishing you luck with your snow melting away soo. It's wonderful when you can see the ground again as it happened here a week ago or so.

    Your finish is just stunning, sorry can't help you in identifying the pink think between Q & R. Your Quaker motif is stunning, the pink on the brown is really so pretty.

    I wish we had half your snow I live. Winter has been so disappointing in this part of the country!

    I think the pink is gingham! It makes me think of Bill Hicks the comedian.

    Ehhh, I haven't the slightest idea what that pink thing is. I would've just assumed it was a divider!

    The Quaker motif looks so lovely on that chocolate linen. I am a horrible person who likes blue more than pink but pink and brown go so well together. :D

    G'luck with your MS stitch! They always seem to just come alive with that crazy backstitching.
